DoubleTree by Hilton San Jose

I liked the location/close to airport. My room smelt really bad , shower had mildew in the grooves , curtains had cigarette burns even though I asked for a non smoking room . Did not receive cookies :( , upon asking room service for toothbrushes , they were never received.

room was clean, the location is perfect

The rooms are dated. Furniture is old and everything in the rooms are run down including the doors and counters. It was clean which was the only thing that kept me from giving it 1 star.

The doubletree stay was centrally located I loved the cleanliness and hospitality! Definitely would stay again. I would only change not paying a new deposit after paying for my first night.

Clean rooms . No mini fridge, no body wash. The only thing bathroom was bar soap.

The restaurants/food service left a lot to be desired. Few choices. Lackluster service. No room service as an alternative. Expensive!! They actually ran out of food to fulfill several items on their limited menu on a Sunday - with a conference in house. Hard to understand. Just beware and be prepared to fend for yourself.

I am a hotel honors member and I have been too many Hilton Hotels especially the Doubletree, but this one was horrible. I am disabled. Did you not have transportation for wheelchair from the airport to the hotel because something was wrong with a vehicle when I got to the hotel the wheelchair that they had there was broken all the floors throughout the hallway were stained and smelly. It looked like some vomit at one area in my room, the tub was stained doors were cracked damaged the floor inside the room was horribly dirty and stained it smelly. My wife didn’t allow me to even take off my shoes or socks to walk on the floor. I have Parkinson’s and neuropathy on both my legs. This is a horrible state I’ve ever had and was very disappointed at Hilton for having its name on this hotel.

Super easy check in. The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. Super convenient for a quick trip and near the airport.

Outdated, key wasn’t working well and sometimes the elevator key

Bed was firm and pillows were not comfortable

Staff was fine. Limited breakfast selection, Limited lunch buffet selection, bar/grill area packed and service was too slow, had to leave the hotel for lunch, this location needs a real restaurant.

The upstairs hallway carpet was so dirty bleach stains everywhere black stains . The smell was like old dirty carpet. The in side of the room no refrigerator or microwave. It also had old carpet that smelled

We usually park at Doubletree near SJC to catch our flight out. It’s very convenient for late arrivals because we’ll reserve a room for the night. The only drawback is to make sure your flight does not arrive after 10-10:30 p.m. because Doubletree’s shuttle service stops at 11:00 p.m. and you’ll be forced to Uber or take a taxi to the hotel.

Old property that reeks of tobacco smoke. Mold in bathrooms. Dirty carpet. Prone to vandalism. My car was broken into in the parking lot.

staff can be a little bit more helpful
