Property is starting to show its age, but the staff make up for this. Always one of my favorite places to stay in SF.

Hotel amenities are great, room, bathroom, cleaning services- all thumbs up! Overall, the stay and service were good, if not for the admin confusion, hiccups, and breakfast kerfuffle. Shout-out to the following staff at InterContinental San Francisco-IHG, who have been helpful in smoothing things out: Fernando, Pauline, Hadleigh, and Sarim. Thanks! There were a couple of hiccups with my stay, as I had back-to-back reservations. The first 5 days (Sep 13-17) were booked by a company, which didn't include breakfast. The last 4 days (Sep 18-21) were my personal booking. The first booking didn't include breakfast, so I requested to charge all meals towards my second (personal) booking. There was a bit of confusion with the charges, but it got sorted in the end. I also had to contact Turkish Airlines San Francisco for flight changes, which was a local landline number, and was given confirmation that call charges would be removed since it's just a local call. There was confusion with this too; charges were applied, but this was also sorted after speaking to the Manager-Fernando. Additionally, I paid for 3 adults in my personal booking, which includes breakfast for all 3 people. We were flagged at the restaurant and practically told that only 2 people are entitled to breakfast. I had to again speak to the Manager-Fernando, show him the confirmation from Booking.com. He acknowledged this and explained that it didn't appear in their system, which is often an issue with Booking.com reservations, then he issued a voucher. It's important to note that I've paid for 3 people to avail of breakfast for the entire stay (4 days), but my 2 guests only had breakfast for 2 days (Sep 19-30). So technically, I have paid for 2 extra people and 2 extra days. I don't expect a refund, but I didn't appreciate being flagged and embarrassed in front of other guests, as if we're taking advantage of meals or trying to get away with something I didn't pay for. Overall, the stay and amenities were good, aside from these administrative issues. I’d like to acknowledge the staff members who were helpful in resolving everything: Fernando, Pauline, Hadleigh, and Sarim. Thank you to the InterContinental San Francisco team for their assistance.

I’m also a young woman who was made extremely uncomfortable by some male guests and the staff did not seem to take that seriously. Would not stay here again

The staff were very helpful checking -in and making sure everything was organized.

Service and staff were very helpful. All friendly and ready to offer help. Room was cleaned daily and promptly. I loved the lap pool, not the dinky hotel pools for children to horse around in, but there for people who love to swim. They listen to your needs and requests and happily oblige. The windows are splattered with muddy rain, which may be out of their control depending on what day of the week they may get their windows cleaned, but it affected the view. Some of the fixtures are worn out. And what's with Newsmax on TV, that was a turn off on my opinion.

Staff very friendly and hotel experience was excellent. Definitely go back to stay here.

What I liked about the property was the staff, location, how well maintained the property was, the water softener, the cleanliness of the rooms. What I didn't like was paying $100 per night for valet parking.

IHG in SF is one of my favorites. It's a very nice hotel and I appreciate that it's not in the Union Square neighborhood.
