Parking situation

For the price of the hotel we expected a bit more from the pool and outdoor area. The rooms were clean but our time outside could have been more enjoyable if the pool area was cleaner.

Great central location to most things, pool is decent but there's no beach swimming here... Parking should Cost LESS! But very pleasant stay.

Great location to stay. On property restaurant fantastic. Pool area perfect. Complementary boat tour a huge plus.

Perfect breakfast!

Great location for visiting Sea World, great staff, and some really fun thing for kids. I just felt the room was a bit old for the price. Bathroom was eh, no glasses. fold out bed in living room had no blanket.

I liked that we were really close to Sea World and that the staff was helpful with the room issues we ran into during our stay. I didn't like that our first room smelled like a sewer and then relocating to another room where the sliding bathroom door was not opening or closing, and even after their engineer went to fix it, shortly after the sliding door was not working again, and they needed to move us for a third time where we finally ended our stay. Lastly I didn't like that one or their water slides were closed down. Getting in and out of the parking lot was terrible as well, their parking machine was never able to read our card so we had to wait for their parking lot attendant to let us in and out. The staff did try do a good job to assist us but it was definitely an inconvenience to have to relocate three times. Not sure if we would stay here again.

The property needs a lot of work with updates. Rooms smelled of mildew, and there were many areas where there was mold and mildew build-up throughout the facility. Even the pool has a significant amount of mold build-up at the seals. We were pretty disappointed.

All the staff was very friendly. The only thing I could find lacking was access to room service for breakfast.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to stay for our anniversary. We have an infant son, so we wanted to choose somewhere that was family friendly. We did enjoy our day at the pool with our baby. However, I have previously worked in hospitality, so I noticed a few things in the room were not clean. The mirror was dirty, there were food crumbs left on the couch, the small table did not look wiped down, and the bathtub had hair in it. Also, the alarm clock on the night stand was left on and went off early in the morning, waking up our baby. The staff was all very friendly, but unfortunately I do not think we would return.

I definitely recommend one of the ocean-view rooms. There’s nothing better than sitting back with a cold beer, listening to some music, and watching the sun set over the ocean. Six years of great stays and memories—we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Helpful staff, concierge, pools

Pool Bathroom had mold

Pool area a bit small, dirty outside showers, Pelican restaurant was utterly horrible, we tried twice. Mai tai & Pina colada tasted like they were from an icee machine, nachos cheese raw not melted looked like a plate of slop thrown in the bowl.

Clean room

Overall, we had a nice and relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience enjoyable. However, for a family stay, it would have been more convenient to have access to a microwave. The furniture could also use some updating, and we felt that many of the amenities and services were quite overpriced with a ton of unexpected fees. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but there are definitely a few areas that could be improved.
