La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham St. Augustine

Clean room, nice A/C, for how busy it was the room and hallways were quiet.

When I got there the place was dirty wasn't open I couldn't get in I had just had a bad experience with this hotel very bad experience

The night desk staff, Monique was very pleasant and cheerful. She even stayed longer waiting for our late arrival.

The room was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The carpet was covered in dirt and clearly had not been properly vacuumed ( dead roach) There was fungus in the bathtub, and the mold was even worse\. The water pressure was terrible, making it almost impossible to wash your hair properly. The towels were damp, and the entire room smelled old, dusty, and humid. Unfortunately, the same unpleasant smell was noticeable in the lobby, so it seemed to be an issue throughout the hotel. ( have pictures). The continental breakfast was also very disappointing. The coffee was terrible, and the coffee creamer provided was expired. I reported it to the staff, and they did replace it with a new one, but this should never have happened in the first place. The windows facing the pool were extremely dirty and had clearly not been cleaned properly in a long time\. I booked through Hotels.com, and because the cancellation policy requires cancellation two days in advance, I was unable to simply leave without losing my reservation. Overall, this hotel needs significant improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and basic quality standards\. Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a pleasant trip\. I would not recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay… Pet friendly… I stay once a Month…for family business

Good location. Breakfast was bad. The hotel smelled like humid. Room was clean.

The mini vacation that my husband and I took was amazing. The hotel was awesome and the breakfast was better than great. This was the first time that my husband had went to a really nice hotel like this and he loved the breakfast. The pool was perfect.

Customer service is lacking… never anyone at front desk. Inconvenience if need something or want to just ask questions. Air in room won’t go below 68, it took hours for room to get cold how I like it. When made reservations I had noted we were traveling with kids and asked for crib/ pack play also for king room with sofa bed. Neither were provided. Phone in room wouldn’t dial front desk. Definitely not the worst, pretty clean and house keepers were friendly and spoke. Just front desk wasn’t helpful and never there

had a pool and breakfast. mainly just went for a shower but tub was also cracked.

Photos on your site of hotel building and lobby are misleading. I selected location based on the photos and I was very disappointed since building and lobby looked nothing like the photos causing me to rate so low. Other Laquinta locations were great

Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good as the kids enjoy the waffles.Parking included.

The hotel was decent overall. The room was clean, the staff was polite, and the location was convenient. It met my expectations and provided a comfortable stay.

Me quedé tres días y dos noches, dejé en la puerta que no entrarán a limpiar con el televisor prendido, nos fuimos de turista sin darnos cuentas hasta llegar a la casa que nos robaron varias pertenencias, como volver a confiar en este lugar, nos dejó una tristeza muy grande.

Bed

Hotel was very clean. Room was somewhat clean. Some staff was great, but the Caucasian lady that checked us in seemed unwelcoming with no personality. She wasn’t rude or anything, she just made us felt like we were bothering her. The bathroom shower was not as clean as we expected. It had some mildew in the corners and the tub floors were dingy. Toilet was ok, but needed some attention. Property was in a safe area with easy access to A1A. Beds were clean and very comfortable. A/C unit was on point. I would stay again though

Honestly was a very wonderful experience, not only was the staff super sweet, caring and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with great options, as well as the amenities such as the pool and little gym were very wonderful. Extremely clean room and building overall, I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future when I go back to St. Augustine.
