Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester Downtown

Compared to other hotels I've stayed at, this was the cleanest by far. The room, bathroom, and common areas were spotless, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing, it was perfect.

Leyron at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. Jilliana at the restaurant was so kind and attentive, making sure we felt taken care of throughout our meal. A special thank-you to Vince, who helped us get the TV working and, even more importantly, managed to make us laugh and smile after what had been a very long and tiring day. We had experienced a flat tire earlier that day in Buffalo, so his kindness and sense of humor truly meant a lot. It’s the people who can turn a stressful day into a much better one, and this team did exactly that. Thank you, Leyron, Jilliana, and Vince, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciated your kindness and excellent service!

Very nice facility, amazing location, close walking distance to so many areas of downtown Rochester. Would absolutely stay here again.

The STAFF absolutely wonderful, helpful and informative. Just great! Hotel was very clean. We chose do to closeness to Play and Science centers. Parking was good. Had grandkids. Hard to bathe if tub stopper not working. Other is more important please put handicap handrail in shower on outside wall for us older visitors when leaving tub - inside rail not helpful and without anything on tub floor became very slippery and cause me to fall. Please correct handrail or place a surface on tub floor to stop slipping when exiting tub. Thanks!!

Need better airport shuttle transportation, I had to uber to ROC airport for a 7:30 a.m. flight. Cost me money and you advertise free transportation (Shuttle Service) False advertising.

Great family-friendly hotel. Perfect for visiting the museum of play next to it. Also within walking distance of a few restaurants and a bakery. The staff was friendly and informative. The pool is clean and well maintained.

It was a great place to stay as we were visiting the Strong Museum. The lobby and the pool are very nice.

Amazing location! Very clean facility. Kind staff. I believe the pool has too much chlorine, left with a rash on my back and chest. Pool area was clean. The water in the room and pool was a little chilly. The room was resolved the day before we left. The pool would've been our main hangout if the temperature was better. With the rash and chilly temps, I still give the hotel a 5 out of 5. Location, cleanliness, and kind staff.

The shower water temperature is a little bit cold for me on the first day. The second night is way better

Rooms were clean and decently comfortable. Modern bathroom. Breakfast buffet food was terrible. Very poor quality food and they use plastic utensils, cups etc so there was so much waste. They also ran out of food and took a while to replenish it during the peak time every one was eating

Great hotel, spotless, very well maintained and modern rooms with ample space! Breakfast was really good with choices of scones, waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, hash browns, oatmeal, walnuts and dried fruits (these were real premium touches to the offering!). Right next to the Strong Museum of Play so no need to pay for parking for the museum too!
