The staff were delightful, especially Ryan who took time to show us around the facility. Amy who helped with a breakfast situation. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The small town of Westin is 10 miles away with interesting things to see and a Walmart. The restaurant cost. A senior lighter menu would be appreciated. I was surprised that the room didn't have a microwave. I understand that this is a safety issue and that is fine.

While out of their control, the cable provider went out so we were w/o tv the second night and next day. I’d like to go back with a group when the golf course isn’t CPO.

Excellent resort.

We went and played the Palmer course and it was so wet our shoes got soaked, there was puddles everywhere, and our cart broke down and all they said to us was they needed to buy new ones- that more are broken down than not. Pool was closed because it was raining out by then. A nice pool thought for having it inside and outside, but dumb for that same reason. WiFi didn’t work and had next to no phone service. Ate at lightburns for our anniversary dinner and got the chicken Alfredo. Chicken was rubbery and I would have compared it to Olive Garden, with Olive Garden being better. There was also supposed to be a s’mores event and that just never happened, so there was absolutely nothing to do once it got dark out. Couldn’t kayak, or go on the boat tour because it was sprinkling out. Nobody welcomed us there, asked if we needed anything, asked how our stay was, nothing. It felt more like we were a bother being there and we should just magically know where to go and what to do. For the price and quality of things, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and probably wouldn’t go back.

We stayed in a room with a king size bed, and a pullout couch. The pullout couch was broken so my daughter had nowhere to sleep since there was four of us in the room. The air conditioner was broken. I called down to the front desk and the gentleman just said he was sorry there was nothing he could do the next morning at checkout, they assured me I would get a refund and that did not happen. I’m in the process of disputing the charge on my credit card thank goodness I took photos and videos.. The property itself is absolutely beautiful.

Amaizing

It just didn’t meet my expectations for a resort. Dining options were limited and expensive. There was only one breakfast place. Pool was nice but crowded. The lake and surrounding property is beautiful. Be sure to take the boat tour of the lake.

I was able to book a round of golf on the morning we left and had a wonderful time.

Nice grounds but weather did not cooperate

Great property. It is impossible not to relax. Beds and linens were top rate. Furniture was all very comfortable and good looking. Kitchen was well stocked. Great stay!

Lake & patio. Easy to walk around. Quiet atmosphere. Food prices

We got there earlier than expected but the staff was very accommodating and we were able to check in early. We had a lake view room and loved it!
