Overall very good
-
Hot water in shower was great but from sink it was inconsistent

Richland Riverfront Hotel was excellent for closeness to KRH for our medical purposes. I was told by the staff that they offer a medical discount if I had called Richland Riverfront Hotel directly. It would have been nice if we could have stayed without worrying about our medical appointment.

Property was clean and well maintained, building is old but rooms are recently renovated, breakfast needs a little work eggs where cold and sausage was just warm more verity would be nice.

Disappointing

Breakfast was great

The room was quite small but was mostly clean.

The room was very small. King bed in a tiny room, it should be a queen so you could move around a bit. The bathtub was dirty and the door was in need of help. We asked for maid service for the following day, and they never showed up. The person at the front desk brought us towels instead of the house cleaner. I couldn't reccomend this place and won't return. The staff people were very nice, but this place is falling apart and needs some TLC badly.

Exceptional

The walking trail in the back that follows the river. The location is so close to EVERYTHING. Breakfast was amazing. The staff were very nice. Quiet. My door was a little wonky and was difficult to close. Other then that I was very pleased with my stay.
-
The pool looked nice but we didn't use it The wine bar still not open. Only displayed empty wine bottles. Room was beat up, too small. Breakfast was so so. Old fruit, ran out of coffee twice, staff couldn't keep up with food. Kept running out.

The room I was given did not smell great, like smoke and sweat. I asked to see a different room and they were willing to give it to me, but it smelled worse and felt like a dark cave. With people going by loudly outside your room all the time and doors slamming it was quite loud. If you are on the second floor there is no elevator, and the stairwells (while wide) are very poorly lit which doesn't feel all that safe at night. To the cleaning crew's credit the rooms actually ARE pretty darn clean, with crispy white linen. However, everything feels like it's falling apart. I had paid for three nights but checked out after the first night. The night front desk person was apathetic at check-in and then pretty frosty when I asked to see a different room and then decided to check out. They told me I couldn't because it was a third party booking system, but then I talked to Hotels.com, and they told me the hotel could refund the two nights if they wanted to. I returned in the morning to talk to a manger but was not able to access one because they were 'busy'. In the end they said they would refund the two nights.

Downsides: There is no bar or restaurant. Been closed for months. Remote location, not close minute marts or any retail area. (Bring your own goodies, unless you want to dearly from the lobby). Does have an ice machine. No breakfast. Seemed to be a big work crew-Big work trucks kind of place. Lobby was spacious and cold. Not much atmosphere. Very expensive! Of course, our friends got the room for $100 less…Let down for sure. Felt cheated.

Also had problems with tv working correctly.

The restaurant is permanently closed although not stated on the website. The hotub is closed with no estimated opening. The room was musty and bathroom was very old.
-
A very nice hotel that I would recommend to friends if they went to Richland to race or visit.
-
The walls were solid and I heard little from our neighbors. If there was someone one the second floor, they were never heard. Darn good structure/bones to prevent noise. Noisy air conditioning
-
I will definitely be staying here in the future. Great location to the river and food spots
