The road going into property had potholes. The room was an old smoking room and you could smell. The breakfast was ok but no cranberry juice, eggs, bagels, tea, or Greek yogurt. The room had dried paint all over carpet. TV channels did not stay in focus to watch anything. The fire alarm went off for over an hour around 9pm. Staff had no idea what to do and we waited for someone out of town to come turn it off. crappy place.

No hot water from the 2nd day (Wed) of our stay until the morning (Friday) we checked out. Fire alarm activated Thursday at 8:00-10:00 pm. Customers stood in the parking lot for 2 hrs only to find upon returning to our room, not only did we have NO HOT WATER, we had NO WATER at all. Called front desk on room phone & lady offered 50% discount for Thursday night due to inconvenience & chaos. However, Expedia unable to confirm w/ mgmt to honor credit. Obviously mgmt doesn’t honor their word

Curtains in room were shaggy and didn't close on top. Had to use clip for privacy. Had a good sleep. Bed was comfortable. Would have liked to have some place to hang my clothes. Bathroom was clean, temperature comfortable, staff very nice. room clean.

I thought this hotel was over priced. They were doing constructiom on the floor that I stayed on. I had to walk on plastic all the way to the room from the elevator. There was a small towel with a large insect on it in the elevator. I didn't try the breakfast because I had heard bad things from other guests. The hotel had a musty smell. The workout equipment was very used and in poor shape. The pool water was warm and nice. The hot tub was out of service and unuseable.

Technically. this place was under what they called "a remodel." But, of course, they aren't up front about that and you just see printer paper signs on the entry door after you check-in. Floors were covered in drywall, power tools and banging all day, and one of my rooms had the window screen knocked out and was full of flies. Asked front desk to change rooms and they said "We are full" and offered no help with the flies. I then asked to cut the stay short and they said I'd have to do it online, even though they charged my card directly. Wound up eating the money and going somewhere else because this was a dump. Avoid this place and stay at the much nicer Springhill or Hampton. This place is depressing.

Nothing. The facilities were misrepresented on the advertisement. Apparently their jacuzzi has been broken for weeks, and they don’t tell you until you arrive to check in. Furniture in the lobby was wrapped up in stretch wrap, as if they were moving out or closing. Everything was in disrepair and dirty. The desk clerk was unprofessional, and had her priorities focused on her child, who was there behind the counter. I informed the clerk of my concerns, and she told me to go stay somewhere else (which I did). Later saying, “we’ve told the owner, but he doesn’t care.” Honestly, we went on a trip to build memories, and we’ll remember this negative experience for years to come. What’s most frustrating is, the complete lack of understanding, or support, when I requested a cancellation and refund. Just told it probably wouldn’t happen, but I could contact Booking.com to “see if they will” refund me for the stay that never happened. Everything. Clean, comfy and great loacation. The bread was dried out. Peanut better so old it wasn't creamy anymore. Bacon and potatoes were undercooked.

The hotel was under reconstruction. Remodeling rooms and common areas. Plaster dust throughout the building. There was no mention in the advertisement that the hotel was being remodeled. The hotel staff had to be reminded to service our room each day.

just happened to be there when there was no hot water for the shower - otherwise an ok stay - they could do a little more cleaning though - such as in elevator and vacuum the stairs...

When we got checked into our room it was not cleaned had food and trash everywhere and the bed was in shambles. They gave us another room and then there was not hot water

Seems the property was being renovated. Our room was clean but not vacuumed. The breakfast area was out of waffle batter and the toaster wasn’t working. Coffee pots were empty but refilled before we left.

Rooms were not bad but cleaning in elevator, hallways was bad. Ice machine was leaking on floor and water was not cleaned up, just had a hazard sign over the water. Breakfast selection was pretty good. Talked to two other couples who had the same comments.

Dirty and run down under construction

The checkin was okay but the desk staff was not very welcoming or friendly and could use some good customer training. Our room was clean and the house keeping staff did a great job keeping it clean and stocking clean towels and making the bed each day. The breakfast had a good selection of food and was well serviced on our first morning. However, on the second (last day), when we came in to eat at about 8:15 am, there was no coffee or hot water or orange juice and the serving bowls for the most popular items (scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes) were empty and the waffle batter container was near empty. One staff person (a man whose duty it didn’t appear to be) was trying his best to correct the situation and refill the empty dishes and pitchers. After 5-10 minutes other staff also started helping and within 20-25 minutes the situation was corrected. Not a good last impression that makes one want to come back again.

Our room was clean but the property was a mess. I think they are upgrading rooms so perhaps it's a mess from construction. Breakfast was adequate. Cereal, toast, waffle maker, eggs. Bacon, potatoes, yogurt and juice.

we booked this property for the second time. The first time we stayed here the property was in nice condition. That was just a year prior to this stay. But when we got to the property it has gone down hill quite a lot. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are remodeling. But there is a lot of work that needs to be done to the property. Our room was in quite a state of disrepair. It just felt quite dirty.

It was a good stay other than the construction in the neighboring rooms. The hallway was full of debris from the construction but other than that it was a good stay!

Staff were great, room is clean and well maintained.
