Very good

Very unique and charming hotel, friendly staff, close to many sights and good restaurants

Staff was super friendly and helpful, room was clean. Restaurant Tope was excellent, great drinks and food.
-
The room was very unique and comfortable; however, I did book the shoebox and was placed in a room with a full-size bed. Wish I was there long enough to experience breakfast, I'm sure it would have been a wonderful experience.
-
Cool vibe although right on the edge of Chinatown which is very run down.

Overall I do not think I would stay here again. The room was more rundown than appeared in pictures. Hair dryer did not work, air conditioning did not work, there was a large brown / yellow stain on the bottom of one of the bedsheets. Was not super impressed with my stay here.

We tried to go to Pamana - they had a 20 min wait - they texted when it was ready and we came down from room. They had already given our table away. There were lots of open tables and they said we would have to wait another 15-20. They acted like we were at fault for not standing by the hostess desk, we told them we would go upstairs to see our dogs. Overall they were very snotty and blaming. We have stayed there 7 times - and the front desk, valets, room staff are all wonderful. Just not the hostesses at Pamana. Not even an apology. We just left. It seemed better to find a restaurant that was more interested in having us.

The room was small but spacious. The lobby was clean and professional yet casual. My only complaint was the windows were so thin you could hear all the outside noise. I am sure if the homeless population was less the noise outside would be less. Unfortunately spent most the night listening to people yelling and sirens.

Beautiful, cool hotel with a restaurant and coffee shop in the lobby. It is right inside the International District with nearby places to eat, clubs and Powells Books. Staff was vewry helpful with check in, lunch ideas and valet. Can't wait to visit again!
-
The hotel itself is absolutely perfect. Staff was amazing and very kind caring and welcoming. I do wish however, the coffee shop was open a little bit earlier as walking to get early morning coffee in downtown Portland might not be the best idea but that’s OK overall I would absolutely stay here again super cool eclectic and just the vibe I’m looking for!

I really loved my stay here. My room was phenomenal and was very comfortable and elegant. I loved the restaurant on the rooftop and also the restaurant in the lobby. The coffee shop was amazing too. The location was great cause I walked everywhere. The staff made my stay feel extra special. I’m very grateful for the experience and will be back!
