Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center

Clean and convenient

Clean and modern, in the heart of Normal, needs a happy hour for guests since they dont offer free Bfast. Rooms, halls clean. Front deak people need to be replaced

Very walkable area for shopping and eating.

Every was nice!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with booking.com not completing my reservation correctly (ie putting my first name first on the reservation and the Marriott staff was unable to find it). Booking.com blamed me and wanted to charge me cancellation fees close to 500 dollars! Vanessa from Marriott helped me resolve the issue. I would highly recommend Marriott in Normal Illinois but I will never use Booking.com again. Problem with booking through Booking.com.

Nice access to parking garage Nice gym with all the amenities

Location good. Open foyer is pretty. The front check in desk staff was very nice and helpful. Especially Deb. The waitress in the restaurant dark hair young girl was verynice

Start off with the fact that I have two small dogs and they cost $75 each. So that doubled the price of the room. The room wasn’t ready and it seemed like the staff was confused about what would be ready. Then Marriott has decided that you can’t plug in a Roku or game system without the tv being auto set to full volume. Then, after I called down to ask for a late check out, at 8:19 am the staff decided to knock on the door to see if I’ve already checked out, which made all the dogs bark and wake up my sleeping infants. Why did I pay over $300 for this idiocy. This Marriott needs a new manager.

Clean room, pool water was cold, Staff were very friendly.

Very pleasant stay. Clean room. Courteous staff.

Convenient location.

Passable

Everything about the location, room, and actual hotel itself. Very clean. No comp breakfast or evening happy hour with snacks and drinks, oh the fact nothing mentioned parking fee until I got there. $15 a for parking is crazy.

Everything was great!

When I requested linens for the bed, I was told that I had to go downstairs to the front desk to pick them up myself. We also requested toilet paper and were told that the hotel had run out. These issues made our stay uncomfortable and gave us the impression that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned or properly prepared before our arrival. I expected much better cleanliness, basic supplies, and customer service from a Marriott property.

Location, friendly staff

hardwood floor parking

Not available/ breakfast bar only

Tub was dirty it had hair and scum in it. Room was freezing
