Art deco hotel at a convinient loaction Where shall is start? First they gave me a room below the class i booked. After complaining they apologized (so sorry it was a mistake…), they lost a laundry and were kind of annoyed that i complained ( i reminded them several times) . I got it back after a day without notice. Last but not least they refused to isdue an invoice as it was booked via booking.com - „Not my job“: front desk

The bed linens were outstanding. The room was perfectly appointed. The staff who cleaned the room were SUCH LOVELY persons! The wait staff at the restaurant were nice. The bar was enjoyable in the evenings. Room service was good (wish they would leave a copy of the receipt (there was a big jump between the sum of the costs of the dishes and the final amount). The location offered perfect access to many a site. Checkout was so smooth. The bathroom toiletries - all Diptique. Great choice! Wish the room had an iron and ironing board. Bathroom doors in the room- could have been a better design. Spacious bathroom. The room was very comfortable! Good available lighting choices in the room. Good black-out window coverings. Total aside: Between leaving the room, check-out, taxi to airport, airline check in and getting through TSA on Labor Day, all in- less than 1 hour!!!

Rooms the hotel were clean, luxurious and noise proof. Would definitely stay here again Staff all friendly helpful and willing to go above and beyond if required.

Staff were very helpful, rooms have been newly renovated and very comfortable. If I ever visit New York again, Sofitel will be the one I will stay at.
