LIC Hotel

Staff was great and helpful, the rooftop was great and the view was awesome. The neighbourhood was very nice, so close to the subway. Great restaurants near by. Mattress was to soft, but that's my personal preference.

That said the room was quiet and had clean linens. The breakfast area was weirdly sparse and had a “30 min dining limit” which we found odd. We’d hoped to be able to sit in that area to chat while waiting on a car or our friends, but most of the day the chairs were up on the tables and lights off. It makes sense that you can’t eat all day, but not even use the tables? The rooftop was sparse but did have benches, so we met up there when it wasn’t raining or too cold and windy. Over all it’s adequate for a clean place to sleep and shower when you have other places to be.

This is a well- maintained, small and simple hotel that reminded me of small European hotels. Clean and safe, with snacks and drinks available for purchase in the evening, restaurants and a Trader Joe’s grocery two blocks away, and full free breakfast in the morning.

Easy to get to, close to LGA airport, flexible check in times. The receptionists were always nice and helpful. My room was very spacious, had a fridge, and they brought me an iron/board upon request. The room and bathroom were very clean. Had a full mirror, and handrail for hanging up clothes. The breakfast was really good, and made fresh. They said they were able to store my luggage after check out. Great place to stay for a few days if you have business or anything in the city. Subway station is close by, easy to get to Manhattan. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Everything would have been much better if my cellphone was not stolen out of my room. Cleaning crew was asked but of course no one who cleaned the room took it...but, it's gone. All my pictures, phone numbers are gone. Very sad indeed. We were there because my father died so it was not a happy occasion made less happy once my cellphone disappeared out of my room.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good, the hotel staff were very nice. Would stay here again.

It was very expensive for as old of a hotel as it is. The fact that my room had twin beds was very unusual. There is almost no counter space in the bathroom. The toilet was leaking when I arrived but they fixed it when asked.

Location was great and room was spacious and clean Breakfast was dubious quality and the coffee was terrible, with little specks of oil.

The rooms were small but very clean, which is pretty much what you expect near New York City. It was me and my two sons (21 and 16), and the room was comfortable enough for all three of us. The only downside was the very limited parking, but we arrived early enough to get a space and were able to leave our car there for our entire stay while we used the subway. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again!
