All staff were super lovely and pleasant! Easy to navigate around the hostel! The rooms are clean and bed was really comfortable. Showers and bathroom facilities are clean too. No stress about safety at this hostel! It can be quite echoey in the rooms so you can hear people upstairs and in the corridors a lot.

they obviously know what they're doing as everything you needed is part of it. Kitchen was better equipped than I expected. The place is becoming a bit worn around the edges. Things like doorhandles from stairs to hallways that get used a lot are in bad shape. The frypans in kitchen are incredibly warped and need to be replaced. Your sleep is kind of dependent upon how considerate or inconsiderate your roommate's are. But that's priced into the equation.

The whole process was smooth. The staff was helpful in informing me about the stay. The bathrooms sometimes weren't as clean but it would be at the end of the day so I don't blame them. In the mornings it'd be spotless though. But overall a great value for your money.

I genuinely enjoyed my stay! I stayed in a female dorm, and the room was clean, comfortable and respectful. The rooms were cleaned regularly The hostel had everything a traveller could need clean bathrooms, a big kitchen with plenty of fridge space, a lovely common area for chatting or studying, food and drinks available, and even a basement for comedy shows and movie nights. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable and welcomed. You can really tell that the people behind the hostel thought about what travellers need. Honestly, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in New York! ❤️ I highly recommend it, especially for solo travellers. Book early if you can! ✈️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Hostel Experience in New York! ❤️ I genuinely, genuinely enjoyed my stay at this hostel in New York. As a solo traveller, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but honestly, I was so impressed with the whole experience. I stayed in a female dorm room, and the room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was respectful, polite and well-mannered, which made the environment very pleasant. The room was also cleaned regularly, and the bedsheets were changed, which I really appreciated. For women especially, I felt like they had thought about everything! The bathrooms had everything you would need, and the facilities were well maintained. And the kitchen! Oh my goodness! ❤️ It was a really big kitchen with plenty of refrigerators, so you could store your food and prepare your own meals. Everything you needed to cook was available. For travellers trying to save money, having a proper kitchen is a BIG advantage. There was also a lovely lobby/common area where you could sit, chat with other travellers, study, work or simply relax. If you get hungry and don’t want to go outside, there is also an area where you can buy food and drinks, which was very convenient. They even have a basement/event area where they hold activities such as comedy shows and movie/cinema nights. I really loved that because it gives travellers something to do and another opportunity to meet people. Honestly, this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in during my time in New York. ❤️ I also felt that the people behind the hostel were very intentional about creating a place that actually works for travellers — especially solo travellers. They have thought about the little things that make a traveller’s stay easier and more comfortable. So, if you are travelling to New York and you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and social place to stay, I would definitely recommend giving this hostel a try. And my advice? Book in advance!
