Cambria Hotel Raleigh - Durham Airport

The pool was inoperable. Gym smelled horrible. It was next to the pool.

Great quick stay

We liked everything about it. It was a wonderful experience, clean and comfortable There wasn't anything we did not like

The ONLY issue with staying here was Daniel - AGM. He was NOT at all helpful nor accommodating. No friendly smile or greeting like ALL of the others working here. Our room keys continued to not work (open our door). When asking for help, he made it seem as if WE were purposely making the keys inoperable. He said, very loudly (this time), "are you keeping the card next to your phone"? Which should have been: "Sorry that's happened. Let me get you new keys". I asked him if there was a house phone in the lobby so that I could call my room, very rudely, he replied "No". I used my cell phone to call the front desk in order to be transferred and Daniel walked away from the desk as the phone was ringing and did not answer. So, I called again and asked him to transfer me :) he did. *not a one time issue for Daniel. We had contact with him at least 3 times during our stay. His abrasive personality needs polishing. Also, if AGM indicates "Manager", this guy doesn't fit the bill. He needs training...scenarios where Daniel is on the other side of the Front Desk and is spoken to just as he spoke to me and my wife.

MOLD SMELL WAS AWFUL & hotel tried to cover it up with Menthol or Ben-gay ointment smell- HORRIBLE

The person who checked me in at the front desk was amazing. However during my stay I found bed bugs. The person at night at the front desk was not shocked. He immediately told me do I want another room or refund. He gave the impression that this wasn’t an irregular occurrence which makes me believe I am not the first person who complained. I highly recommend look somewhere else.

We stay here every time we fly and we leave our car parked here (for a fee) while we’re gone. They shuttle us to and from the airport and we’ve never had a bad experience here.

The beds and pillows are among the best I have ever had at hotel in this price range. The room I had was very spacious. I gave a 3 star review because the room smelled very unclean and like mildew to the point that I sprayed my own body spray around the room to cover up the smell. There was either dirt or the beginning of black mold on the ceiling. I didn’t bother to get another room because I checked in late and had a very early flight and just wanted to fall into bed. Very unfortunate because everything else was wonderful. Would I stay in this hotel again? I would be undecided at this time because I really did enjoy the stay other than the smell.

Clean room the suite was excellent 10/10

Very pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location from the airport is excellent. I didn't even know about this hotel until my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The room exhibited signs of age, with torn window coverings and non-functional lighting fixtures. Additionally, the swimming pool was out of service. These areas require significant attention and refurbishment. Despite these issues, the hotel benefits from an excellent location relative to the airport. Given the current marketing efforts, these deficiencies could negatively impact guest perception. It is imperative that hotel management addresses these property maintenance concerns to prevent a decline in overall quality.

The room was nice and updated. The employees were not friendly. Most dresses like they walked in off the street. No uniforms to distinguish employees from guests. Breakfast was not well maintained and the phone at the front desk rang continuously without anyone to answer. The pool and bar were both closed. Complementary water station (with fruits in it) looks as though it had t been cleaned in days. Looked hazardous to drink. The entire vibe looked as though the company came in to renovate without supplying the facility with the proper management.

The van for the airport fills up fast, I think they should have additional transportation. The transportation is why I chose this hotel. I ended up taking an uber to the airport because there were no additional seats for the shuttle.
