Clean rooms, nice hotel layout and location

I enjoyed my time at this location. The staff was great and everything was as described. I would definitely stay here again. I did not go to the restaurant, but it did look good.

We found rat droppings in our bathroom and switched hotels.

The rooms are ok, the lighting everywhere is dismal…such low light it makes the room feel dingy. The A/C is hard to make work….especially when you have to get down on your knees (at 80 years old) to adjust the temperature, etc…..the staff leaves it off which makes the room smell stuffy as well. I used Expedia for the room reservation and thought I had booked two nights. They called me during the day of the second day saying they were locking me out since I had only paid for one night?? I told them I booked two nights…but maybe I didn’t…still left luggage and clothes in the room and when I came back the door key would not work. I went to the desk and explained the situation and asked if they would honor my Expedia rate….they said no and charged me a much larger number for the next night. It is just not worth that money to stay there at all….won’t go back.

Room Small but clean. Walls thin. I could hear everything my neighbor said. Good Location. Bed ok, pillows awful (bring your own).

Also close to downtown and Old Fisherman's Wharf.

The hotel lobby was charming with a fireplace area to sit and enjoy a coffee. Breakfast was amazing and reasonably priced. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

The room was well maintained and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our dinner at Esteban's and the onsite car charging was easy to use and convenient.

Very clean and comfortable

This place is a great stay for the business traveler. Clean and comfortable. Priced reasonably for Monterey.

The bottom sheet didn’t fit at all making the bedding not very comfortable.

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great central location. Clean, friendly staff and great amenities. Very walkable to get to all the tourist sites in Monterey. Would highly recommend.

The restaurant is excellent!

Our stay was outstanding. Parking was available right in front of our room. The room was clean and well appointed. This place is right in the heart of all the things you want to do and is very convenient to other eateries and shops.

This is a wonderful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is helpful and kind, it is conveniently located, the rooms were so nice, and the restaurant was great. We particularly loved that they are dog friendly. We will certainly stay here again!
