The rooms need an update and an upgrade. Staff could stand to be a little more welcoming at least in check-in. Uneven stairs and steps to get to the rooms so if you have mobility issues, please be aware.

Charming country inn that is close to lots of great places to visit. We had a wonderful time visiting Longwood Gardens and enjoying the peaceful countryside. The room was great, quiet and cozy with a wonderful bathtub. Had a fantastic little getaway. Would definitely go back for another stay.

It was a wonderful experience. Great place to relax after a busy day in Philly.

The keys are very frustrating - if you put next to your keys phone etc. you need to go back to the front desk to have them fixed. Hopefully it happens during the day. It is really a fun place and located close to town but feels remote. Looking forward to staying there again.

This is a cute historical Inn for those who appreciate vintage over modern convenience.

Lack of a handrail up steps to room was difficult. Consider letting guest know when booking a room if that room is going to be next to a busy street. Loved the free and easy parking. Enjoyed the historical nature of the property.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Close to Winterthur. We stayed in the Henry room which was absolutely lovely. Quiet with a large bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were in separate cottages which we did not know before we got here. From pics on internet, it looked and sounded like a mountain LODGE resort. We thought rooms were in a single bldg.. it was a long walk from parking lot to our rm esp carrying luggage. Lots of steps. Staff did offer to help us w luggage. We declined bc we didn't realize how far the walk was. It was a very pretty area and rooms were adequate.
