Hotel Indigo Minneapolis Downtown by IHG

The gym had plenty of equiptment and the bar had great staff, drinks and food. my room was clean, my water pressure was great, the scent of the toiletries was great, and so were the front desk people. valet service since i am a solo female traveller. i do not love being alone in the parking garages.

The rooms were clean and nice. Staff was okay sam was amazing, she was incredibly helpful and sweet. She made the stay amazing. When i checked out i had left something in my room. I immediately noticed after i checked out and called to let them know i would pick the bag up and after picking it up i found room service stole the main item in the bag that i was looking for. When i called the front desk they were extremely rude and unhelpful. Sam was the only kind and helpful person. Although i loved the location the garage was very difficult to get through and i will not be staying there again.

Great hotel in a great location! All staff were so friendly and helpful! Clean & quiet room. Restaurant had great food and drinks, maybe a bit expensive, but what restaurant isn't these days. Parking garage was a little confusing, got lost trying to find my car and collect our luggage, but once I figured it out, it was fine and not overly expensive comparatively. Will definitely stay again next time we're in town. Great to have a nice, clean hotel in prime location that accepts pets!

Overall hotel is great and modern. The room with two queen beds is much smaller than anticipated and furniture quite old.

This was a nice clean, modern hotel with breakfast option on site, close to everything downtown, close to the river, and close and easy access to other neighborhoods.

Very quiet room. Dog friendly. My bedside light didn’t work. I asked for it to be repaired and was told maintenance would take care of it. Unfortunately it was never fixed. Staff was super friendly though.

Hotel Indigo is a very, very nice and beautiful hotel located right downtown. The overall ambiance and elegance of the property are top-notch. However, we did run into a couple of major pain points during our stay. ​First, parking was quite stressful. Because we drive a diesel truck, we couldn’t use the primary parking lot near the hotel due to the height clearance. We were directed to an alternate parking structure, and it was a very tight squeeze just navigating inside—our truck barely made it, and finding an open space up on the 6th floor was a stressful experience. ​Second, the restroom cleanliness fell short. The shower had visible soap scum left on the wall tiles (though the translucent glass doors were clean), and the toilet base had a very strong, unpleasant odor of urine. As someone who owns a professional cleaning business and property turnover company, I have a very keen eye for detail, and it was clear the restroom wasn't thoroughly disinfected. ​The hotel itself is gorgeous, but better communication about oversized vehicle parking and a much higher standard of deep cleaning in the restrooms would easily make this a 5-star experience.
