The person at the front desk (Elizabeth) made me welcome once I stepped into the building. My trip to Midland was for a funeral and Ms. Elizabeth was so heart warming.

Everything was great! A lil disappointed the pancake machine kept breaking down.

Extremely clean hotel. It provided everything one could need, annd room was comfortable. Employees were very friendly, helpful and always smiling. Breakfast delicious and well presented. Will recommend.

The 1st room we got wasn’t cooling so I called the front desk and the front desk lady moved us to next room it was well taken care of thank you

The floors in the room were totally nasty . Walked the floor in my bare feet and then stepped into the shower with running water and the floor. The shower was filthy and dirty. And the manager on duty not very enthusiastic about me, telling her that the floors were nasty .

How quiet it was. You didn’t hear people above you. My room was beside employee break room and door was loud when it closed

Great hotel, clean, very nice staff, definitely would book again. Only “problem” I just felt like the Ac in the room, wasn’t strong enough.

Overall, a nice place, but I would not stay there again due to the smell in the room. The smell was of freshly cut wood, but there was no freshly cut wood in the room. I could not fall asleep with that very strong smell.

We really like Tru. Good and safe location. The buildings, properties, and rooms have always been very clean. The rooms are not cluttered and the furnishings are attached to the floor or wall and are weight-bearng and funtional. Our bathroom had good water pressure but was out of body-wash this time. The coffee is alwas hot and plentiful. The yogurt machine was empty also. Not much in the way of breakfast food selection that I wanted--like many other hotels: scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, pancakes, cereal, and juice. I will also add that while we were having breakfast, I noticed the housekeeping ladies (6-8) coming into work. All of them greeted us. They were in good spirits and all seemd happy to be there -- you don't see that often enough at many hotels. So, Tru by Hilton must be doing something else right.
