Palmer House needs some tlc and we hear renovations are planned in the future. It is nothing fancy just an average motel. The pool and hot tub advertised is closed indefinitely. We knew nothing in advance and consider this misleading in expedia description. No microwave in room either. Staff knew next to nothing about local amenities and not much literature out either. We found out there is an excellent visitor center in Manchester w maps, helpful tips etc. Staff need to visit the visitors center! Price not at all in line w amenities.

Location/reasonable price room. Although outdated room was clean and comfortable. No issues. The incredibly rude woman on reception when we had breakfast. I have never met a more awful woman in my life. I would recommend this place but not anymore simply because of her.

Staff was nice enough, but room was outdated, the HVAC did not work well, and the noise from the other guests children disruptive.

Interesting upscale older property. Rooms are motel -like, and definitely not like chains. Grounds are pretty with good activities for families.

I like the value plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly.

Nothing I'm going to call booking today I paid for a queen bed got the smallest room full size bed no remote for television no ice machine bed was slanted chair was dirty under cushion sink sprayed other customers complained and canceled second day wasn't good at all was promised some money back and never happened

The property is perfectly situated, just a short walk from Main Street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The location is excellent, and the hotel itself is very well-maintained and comfortable. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a walkable base in the town.

Very clean, love the no smoking policy they have so clean air, love the chairs to sit in out side and over look the lawn, the fire pit is very nice on chilly nights. The views, close to downtown for drinks and food. All around great price for a great place.

We were in room 61 at first. The bed was moldy and the sheets were dirty. WiFi couldn’t be connected because we were away from the main area. No ac. Waited 2 hours for house keeping. Finally got moved to room 54. Coffee pods but no coffee maker. No tv remote. Tiles were broken in the bathroom floor. No WiFi connection either. Amenities? What amenities. Indoor pool and hot tub down for maintenance. Overgrown other outdoors area. Subpar breakfast. Half decent coffee. “Golf” is non existent. AI doctored photos. Needs a lot of TLC. Do not waste your time, you will be disappointed.

I like what the property is trying to do, but some updates are needed. The staff was very friendly. The name implies a resort, but the upkeep is not there. The indoor pool had peeling paint, the outdoor pool was dirty and locked. The restaurant was closed. The shower was dirty and the toilet was having trouble flushing. If updated it’s a lovely property in a great location. The bed was fairly comfortable but not great. I hope the management team can bring this place up to where it should be - I feel overcharged for what we got.

Property well maintained. Staff was welcoming and breakfast was good. However we asked for the room to be made up and it wasn't. That was the only issue.

The living room window was open behind a curtain, and the shutting mechanism was broken. Discovered immediately before going to bed, leading to a chilly night. I tried myself to fix the window in the morning, but couldn't get the gear to engage.

Huge property with plenty to do on the site, quite impressive. One of the windows wouldn’t close due to a broken handle, otherwise everything was great.
