Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Madison Southwest, WI

Very good

The property itself wasn’t well maintained. Our room had an off odor when we checked in, stains on the carpeted floor, bathroom had broken items in the shower, and the bed and sofa bed were not comfortable whatsoever. It did its job by just providing a quick place overnight but definitely wouldn’t book or stay again.

kiddy pool was non-working. Breakfast was only so-so. No microwave in food area. Property wasn’t nice. Cigarette butts everywhere outside the main door. We had to complain about the smell of cigarettes and pot on our floor (supposedly non-smoking 🧐 Wouldn’t stay again.

Passable

The staff was friendly.

Great hot tub and friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean.

Hair all over the bathroom & beds Thought about going elsewhere & forfeiting the pre paid room. Hotel staff was really nice :)

Everything was good. Nothing to complain about.

Breakfast is good with make your own waffles. Pool and Hot Tube are nice too.

Overall, this hotel was extremely disappointing. Kids water area didn’t work, and the overall cleanliness of the room was not great. I tried to talk with someone and it never went anywhere. I would not recommend the pictures do not match what you get.

Got checked in everything seemed good. Got to the room to shower no shampoo! The blanket in one bed had stains. Other than that it was ok.

Crushed tortilla chips on our floors. The corners are dusty. Overall a good experience, but the cleanliness needed better attention to detail.

Location was good. Pool looked very nice although I did not use it. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Waffles, cereal, and coffee were good at the breakfast. Toilet bowl had a very obvious ring at the water line. Bathroom door stuck on the floor tile. There was no ventilation in the bathroom. Pantry in the lobby had no Diet Pepsi/Coke. Breakfast had fried, over-hard eggs and Canadian bacon, which are not your "standard fare" for these situations. I expected scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. Biscuits and gravy was only luke warm and it was the blandest sausage gravy I've ever had.

lobby very warm. Our room seemed semi clean. Again, great stylish pictures in room. Breakfast was again, just okay.

Exceptional

The shower curtain smelled like cigarette smoke, some pillow cases and towel had stains and on the bedding I found a drop of blood. The remote control for the t.v didn't work. Some furniture was well worn. The room was spacious but needs a deep cleaning.

The bathroom was not very clean

Management were so nice.

After second room, went back to attendant and asked for money back and went to different hotel.

Always had to ask for pool towels, and thin walls!
