Exceptional

The staff was very friendly, very helpful. Pool was very relaxing. It must have been a very busy weekend cause the carpet in my room needed attention. I don't normally walk barefoot at any hotel but my slippers were not within reach so I had to take a few steps in my bare feet and the carpet felt a bit sticky. My feet were dry as I walked to put my slippers on, taking only about 3 or 4 steps. It did not feel good at all. I was going to mention it to staff but it had been a tiring few days so completely forgot to do that.

We’re glad to find this place after a bad experience elsewhere!

A great little place for business travel or even the family. Not much amenities but cozy.

Superb

We we visiting friends in Lubbock and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Lubbock. Wonderful stay, the staff was very helpful and the room was clean and very comfortable.

I booked a room with a balcony. It wasn’t until we arrived they told us their balconies are all non functional. That was the main reason I booked there.

Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Ac was broken in lobby and bar area. Temporary problem so not a big deal.

The facility was well kept and the customer service was top notch. We arrived close to midnight and the front desk rep was so kind and welcoming.

Very old building and poorly maintained. Also, no free breakfast. $11 for a cup of coffee in Texas is ridiculous.

The bathroom was so dirty with grim in the corners of the floor. The sofa chair had stains as well as the carpet I felt so dirty in that room I broke out in hives.

Marian was awesome. She checked us in and was there the next day to check us out. Very friendly.

My rate was supposed to include breakfast, but we didn’t get free breakfast. The front desk kept pointing over to the restaurant to get coffee, but when you go to get coffee, they say the espresso machine is down. Elevator was broken on the first day… They didn’t offer luggage assistance, although they did try to get us blocked on lower floors.

Elevator and tv, not working,

The staff is amazing, But the hotel needs major renovations. The elevator was broken on our stay. The rooms were overly sprayed with deoderizer to mask the smell of old cigarettes.

There 1 employee working at the time of check in. She was working the bar, serving 2 other customers. We waited at the front counter 15 minutes before she walked over to check us in. I understand she was the only one working however, she should have acknowledged us to let us know we were not being ignored. I kept looking for a bell or someone to come out from behind the wall. Bathroom was dirty, including the floor. Beds were worn and not comfortable. We will not be staying here again.
