Location. I have stayed the at least once or twice a year and never knew their was a large complex in the back. The room was so dated .. dirty the carpet was just gross! The towels were scratchy, I have always stayed in the rooms by the bar, the restaurants and enjoyed it. My friend drive this time and she has a large dirty truck because she is a large animal vet. We were judged, we were not even offered a room and they were not booked. It was literally just awful. The room smelled like cigarettes and vomit. The curtains were torn. The bathroom cocking around the toilet, and shower was yellow and grey with mold. The shower curtain was ripped and missing three hooks

The main building is nice, but our two rooms were in another building and it was just ok, not nearly the same quality as the main building. Very disappointing.

The hotel is understaffed. Room service trays and pool service items were not cleaned up (sometimes for all day) in a timely manner. All staff should always help to pickup stuff from hallways and pool area. Food and service was excellent but rather expensive. I will return but figure out ways to not spend so much dining.

The main hotel lobby, restaurant and grounds are beautiful. The pool are is very nice. Our room was okay, aloite outdated with the

Unfortunately you have raised the parking fee to $59.00 a night. If you add the amenity fees that is an additional $100.00 a day. If I was here for vacation as apposed to work that might work but it is still very high. The bathtub was slow to drain so I stood in 5-6 inches of water as I showered. My other issue is that nobody answered the phone for room service either day that I was there. I like this hotel but I feel that it has priced me out and the issues seem to be growing. I have stayed here at least 4 times. I come to LA for disaster relief 2-3 times a month but I need to look elsewhere.

Staff was great when our first room smelled of smoke, they swapped us quickly.

Terrific experience, great food, pool, ambiance.

The first room they gave us had no furniture in it besides the beds. It was a huge room but just had two small beds in it. There wasn’t even a bench to set our luggage on. There was also no patio furniture. The building and bathroom was very outdated. This was in the upper building by the pool. We requested to change rooms and were given a lovely room with beautiful furniture inside and out, in the main building. My recommendation is to request a nicely appointed room in the main building. The location was great for UCLA Medical Center and the staff was great.

The room was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The pool was especially nice, and the restaurant was excellent!

Overall, it was a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was not included, but we received a daily food and beverage credit that could be used at the restaurant or bar. Parking was valet only and there was an additional charge for it.
-
We had move rooms because the shower wasn’t working. The staff was super helpful and kind and even discounted the bill a bit. Was just disappointed that we had to move from 2 queens to 2 doubles but thankful to have been able to move.

Most of the electric outlets did not work so it was difficult to charge our devices. Need more light over the sink for shaving

Everything is pretty old and outdated, yet clean. The wait at the restaurant is painful - they are severely understaffed and the food is very average. The pool is nice, and it feels very private and quiet but probably wouldn’t stay here again. The rooms could be nicer. 15-20 years ago this would’ve been considered very fancy, but they haven’t updated anything since.

From the room to the hallways, everything looked a bit worn and tired. The staff was nice, but the outdated interior made it hard to fully enjoy the stay. With some updates, this place could be much better.
