Blue Elk Inn

Unfortunately the hot tub was down while we were there. Also the breakfast is pretty awful.

The room was clean and very large. The ground was well maintained and beautiful.

We've stayed at a lot of places in Leavenworth, both hotels and house rentals. The freshly renovated Blue Elk beats them all. Clean and functional with a much appreciated quiet location. Our new favorite place to stay!

Only downside was that the whole building seemed a little over-heated; we had to keep the window open at night to keep the temperature agreeable which then led to both of us catching a cold.

Classy Bavarian style lodge with really nice lobby area and nice clean and cozy room. Also very helpful staff. Enjoyed having a cruiser bike to be able to use to explore.

There was one thing that was very subpar the tv in the room number 211 never worked correctly the entire time we were there. The staff was helpful and gave us credit for one day which I feel should have been for full time

We stayed only one night, but the location was excellent— quiet and within easy reach of the centre. It’s a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive. The staff were kind and helpful. The room was cozy and very clean. The hotel itself and the garden are very well maintained. Breakfast was just enough to get you on your feet for the day. We would stay here anytime. + We really liked all the paintings, especially the big one in the room.

Cool area right by the Alpine coaster which was awesome! Clean room, huge king bed and helpful staff.

Loved that it was pet friendly and a little off of the main highway meaning less road noise.

This is a very charming hotel. Beautifully decorated, shows comfy bed. Julie went above and beyond to help me when dealing with a transportation issue. I appreciate her so much!

It was Amazing only thing missing was kleenex in room. Staff was the best & Breakfast was great

On the negative side, our room had power outages both mornings when our in-room coffee maker was started. This also shut the power to the room across from us. Because the staff doesn't come in until 7:30, we were literally in the dark both mornings. Luckily, we weren't in any hurry to go anywhere, but this would have been a problem if we had needed to get on the road. The staff seemed to be aware that there was an issue with the electricity in our room, so hopefully management will look into fixing it. Also, staff not coming on property until 7:30 meant that the workout room was unavailable until then; I usually want to get my workout started at least by 7:00. Overall, though, we were very pleased. Guests should be aware that it is a pretty good walk into town, especially if you make the trip twice each day.

I would have given 5 stars, except the a/c was rather loud, and we had to keep it on all night. We were on the ground level, and the only window in the room faced the parking lot. If we opened that up, anyone walking by could look right into us while we were sleeping. It was a minor issue though, and we will definitely stay here again!

Great quiet place to stay close to all the fun - but not too close! We will happily return!

I love the Blue Elk Lodge, when you pull up to lodge you feel like you are in the Alps! The staff are welcoming and helpful, my room was well appointed and super clean. A very relaxing atmosphere. A back patio with a pool and outdoor saunas. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay here. Close to everything needed to have a wonderful vacation!!

Our spacious room was clean, well equipped. Comfortable bed.

I just wish I had more time to enjoy the saunas.
