Woods Cove Inn

Saltwater pool is amazing. Large enough to comfortably swim laps. Room (cheapest available) could have been bigger. Solution is to book one of the larger rooms.

Staff was amazing! Rooms were nice and had a beach designed feeling. Comfortable bed and sheets. the room as a whole was great. Across the street from beach. Outdoor sitting area was nice.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! I was charged $1100 OVER the amount of my two night stay. The receipt I received upon checking out showed the correct charges ($1700) but when I checked about 20 minutes later I had an additional $1192 charge. I called multiple times with no answer. I finally received a call back after leaving a message. Millie the manager said it was a pending charge that would drop off, however beyond the nightly room rate and the incidentals hold I was NEVER informed of a charge in that amount. Her words to me were “we charge a lot when you check in.” A LOT?!? This is an unacceptable response from a business and then I was told to “call my bank” for a charge that they originated with zero reason or communication. This is an awful way to treat a guest. We visit Laguna multiple times a year and will never stay at Woods Cove Inn Laguna Beach again.

it was clean and the staff were very helpful the pillows were uncomfortable and the ac was extremely loud. It turns on and off the whole 3 days of my stay. They need to replace it

Exceptional stay and best value in Laguna Beach! Great location, walk across the street to see sunsets at the beach. They provided chairs, umbrella, wagon, complimentary bikes and a salt water pool. I loved the comfy bed and beautiful design. Small and simple but everything I needed for a perfect solo stay! I loved the nightly tea service and the best cookies! Staff was friendly and accommodating, this will be my go to spot when visiting Laguna! Thank you! Honestly nothing… a fire pit in the patio lounge area would be awesome!!

Molly and Milli and everyone at reception were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. The property is immaculate. The beds are SO comfy and the amenities in the room and the lobby so great. Proximity to the beach is clutch and the included bikes so fun. Just sooo charming. Just know that there are no lounge chairs at the pool (only chairs).@ Nothing a thing!

The room was clean and tastefully decorated. Outside parking was ideal for our taller travel van. Amenities were a bit wonky but we managed. By amenities, the air conditioning unit was very close to the bed. With the recent heat wave, the blowing air was intense. And for some odd reason, the TV monitor was not user-friendly and we couldn’t turn off the monitor. It finally shut itself down after some time.

Woods Cove Inn had such friendly staff and gorgeous rooms. We will always stay here when we visit Laguna!
