Easy to park and get to your room. Beds always good at Hampton Inns. Breakfast selections nice. Toilets felt like they were even shorter than a standard toilet. Our toilet bowl was all streaked with pink stains and barely flushed. Each flush felt like it might overflow. I was just too tired from traveling to report it and either have plumber come to room or change rooms, so we put up with it. I needed to do one load of wash but there was one washer and dryer, which was in constant use by a group of construction workers staying at the hotel.

The location and the shuttle to the airport The front desk associate told me that she needed a credit card for a refundable pet deposit of $50 and I was under the impression that I was only gonna get charged $25 for my pet but I got charged $75 total because I never got the $50 deposit back and it made my credit card go over the limit so I was misinformed about that. I would’ve never brought my pet if I would’ve known that and my pet didn’t even make a mess in the room.

Overall cleanliness and helpful, friendly staff. Free weights in exercise room; dumbbells up to 75 pounds. Overall room comfort (bed, walk in shower). Nick picky stuff: Single light switch in bathroom automatically turns on the fan with the lights. Separate switches would be better; fan is loud and not always necessary. For taller folks, the short commode is annoying, uncomfortable. All the cool stuff to do in KC is a 20+ minute car ride away.

This is very close to the airport with easy access and let's face it that's why you're choosing it. That means you're going to overlook the fact that the squeegees on the shower door will drive you crazy and the light from the bathroom directly reflects into the mirror and on to whoever's trying to sleep in the bed. Probably why they provide a night light. Otherwise it's clean and it lets you get a good night's sleep before or after a flight.

Easy access Have someone answer the damn phone with no automation. Was running late and just confirming my stay about 20 phone calls with listening to a bunch of bull shit before the right person finally answered

Very friendly staff

Night clerk was a grump. Did not recognize us as Hilton Honors members. Late arrival; we go there about 11 pm. Got into our room; unpacked, got in bed, tv didn’t work. Called front desk. Wouldn’t bring up a key, go down to get it; she walks away from the desk; then comes back to get the key. Gives it to me without a word. Bed comfortable enough; room clean but bedding needs replaced. Hotel beginning to show age. Breakfast was pretty disappointing; runny gravy, eggs had weird texture. I used to travel a lot for work and have Syed in hundreds of hotels; many were Hampton Inns. This one did not measure up. I’ll think twice before staying in another one.
