Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Indio Coachella Valley

Modern and clean. We have stayed in a dozen places on this road trip and the breakfast here was by far the best! Proximity to Interstate - traffic noise.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. That they charge me more, they supposed to charge me $140.37 and they charge me $190.36 and they didn’t let me know about the extra charge.

Personal is great, service is also very good.

The property was close to the freeway, it was clean, and offered breakfast, which met our needs for this trip. It was a great place to stop during our longer trip.

Check in was easy and quick, the rooms spacious, clean and quiet (at least our room). The lady responsible for the breakfast was extraordinarily helpful and nice! Everything was bare minimum. The breakfast is even for American hotels below average. What does it cost to offer waffles not only on weekends???? Only apples for fruit-no bananas, no oranges! After one of two toasters stopped working it wasnt replaced so the next two days there was only one toaster for the guests instead of two! In the gym one of three treadmills wasn't working at all and one was not working properly . The first day there were towels for the guests doing their workouts but once used up there were no refills.. not on day two..not on day three.. room cleaning should have been done 'every other day' .. well we had to ask for toilet paper on day 4.. oh and pool capacity is 8!!! Eight!!!! Unfortunately, my impression of the hotel has worsened since my stay. I contacted the hotel regarding a piece of jewelry that may have been lost there—an item of great sentimental value to me—and asked whether it had possibly been found. I received no response whatsoever. I understand that the hotel cannot guarantee the recovery of a lost item, but completely ignoring a guest’s inquiry is disappointing and shows a serious lack of customer care.

Everything about the hotel was excellent Communication about pricing was incorrect. I was specific when looking for a hotel that was pet friendly. Was not however was told there’s additional cost involved with having a pet. This is not my first time traveling with my pet.

At about 4am my air conditioning in the room woke me up with a loud noise, sounded like the fan was loose and hitting the sides inside. I turned it off, then decided to report it to the front desk in person. He did offer to switch rooms but my elderly mother was asleep and it would have been too much. I told him my concerns of the room getting hot and no air circulating. He suggested letting it rest, it probably overheated. Went back to bed, in the morning around 6ish the room was warm, turned on the air it worked for about 5 minutes then started blowing out hot air. Asked the new front desk is there was anything to be done as far as a compensation and she said NO, because I booked thru a 3rd party, she couldn’t do anything. ( we were only there for 1 night ). BTW the room 415 is a handicap room and this is what we dealt with til we left at 9am, a warm room, but breakfast was not bad

Front staff wasn’t attentive and had to wait for quiet sometime and when I was helped she wasn’t very friendly or too interested in helping

Overall, it was a great experience and excellent value for the price. I would definitely recommend Fairfield by Marriott to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would happily stay here again!
