I paid for a room and when I got there it was giving away and I was down graded without any refund and no I’m sorry we needed two beds and only got one not happy will not stay again

Excellent price and they accept pets. Everyone is super friendly. Great location and close to UAH. They do not offer breakfast, but that’s ok because it is a great price.

Mostly good No. Breakfast and no key drop box and no attendant on shift to give key to. And no phone charger in room

I have never been to a hotel that charged you an early check in fee for a lousy half of an hour!!! We arrived at 3:30pm after driving 10 hours. Check in time was 4pm. Give me a break. Plenty of better options for a similar price like the Hampton Inn, Home 2 or the new hotel Tru. Much nicer.

Superb

Everything. The workers are so respectful and helpful. They have a gym, free laundry, it’s quiet, it’s one of the cleanest spots I ever stayed in. It comes with all kitchen utensils as in plates, silverware, cups, etc. I would definitely recommend. Ask for Marion if possible, I believe he is the GM but he is so helpful and made me feel comfortable soon as I walked in and I moved here out of state. Don’t be fooled anywhere else, come stay at Sonesta! Nothing. Everything was perfect. Prices could be a little lower but price is worth it.

Exceptional

I do not fault the staff member for not being available, they are working in an employment situation where there is significant understaffing relative to the work expected. For that reason I did not leave any check in reviews with hotels.com because I am well aware that the hotel staff are the ones that suffer and not the hotel management, which is making the decisions to understaff. The room HVAC worked quite well.

One immediate improvement that would make a noticeable difference is replacing the carpet throughout the hotel. If that’s not currently in the budget, professionally cleaning the carpets in the hallways and elevators would be a great start. I would also recommend pressure washing the exterior, common areas, pool area, and stairways. Unfortunately, there is a lingering odor throughout parts of the property that could use some attention. On a positive note, the guest rooms are generally clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, which is one of the main reasons I continue to return. The staff is also usually friendly and in good spirits, even when they appear to be overwhelmed or short-staffed. Overall, I believe a few updates and some additional attention to the common areas could make a big difference in the overall guest experience.

I was honestly disappointed with my stay. Based off the reviews I thought the place was going to be a lot nicer. My room smelled like mold, the bathroom door looked like someone pissed all over it, the carpet had some big stains and the light fixtures were full of dead bugs. The room just felt old and grungy. There was no clean drinking water to purchase. I will say that the staff was always friendly whenever I interacted with them and the bed was comfortable. The location is nice and quiet as and they do have free washers and dryers. That all being said, I probably would not stay here again.

The hotel and room were super clean, the location is convenient, staff were helpful and accommodating. We will gladly stay again.
