Wingate by Wyndham Humble/Houston Intercontinental Airport

I actually enjoyed my stay and would return to see how things improve. There has been remodeling done which looks good. I personally struggled with the smoking followed by incense. and I wish there had been more than toast for breakfast when I left but you also get what you pay for the room. Excellent being so close to the hotel but remember to call ahead for a shuttle.

Close to IAH and very nice, friendly staff but the rooms are not maintained to the normal standard. While relatively clean, there was no hair dryer available and had to buy one. TV was totally broken, nothing worked. The shower head needs some repair as it's barely dripping. Also, it would be nice to provide some shower gel, too, all other 3 star hotels provide this, besides the hand soap. The nice staff definitely increased the rating of this hotel. With a minimum effort I can see this place going up.

Clean and friendly helpful staff

no breakfast, hot tub broken,no restaurant on site, towels were paper thin, no beverages or water aval

The room was fine and clean. The hallways are very worn but enjoyed the Waffle House next door. The breakfast was very basic, yogurts, cereals, bananas, juices. There was a pancake maker.

It was a nice clean space and nice facilities like the weight room. The only shortcoming is the breakfast which was all right.

It was near to the airport. It was too dark and I was too tier when I got to the hotel, I didn’t have a chance to look around. The mattress was not that comfortable. I listed myself for the shuttle to the airport at 11:00 am and at 10:45 the front desk called my room to come down because the driver was already downstairs waiting for me.

Price And quiet location

Not much First room they gave us, the tv was missing off the wall… went to the front desk and the girl just stared at us and said “okay we’ll get you another room.” Next room we get the tv doesn’t work, went to the front desk again and they said they’d send the maintenance man. At this point we were just trying to rest and relax before a full day a travel. Maitenence man came, took about 45 minutes for them to figure out. The room and carpet were not very clean, the sink is in the main room not the restroom. The room was musty, and there were stains and splashes on everything. Just not very clean in general, we wore shoes the entire time. The rooms look nothing like the pictures - they are very very outdated.

They need to take the carpet up..it stinks ..I had to go buy air freshner ...carpet was nasty and smelly..And u can tell they dnt clean very well..lots of things were dirty ,,the table the night stand .will it be back.

Great value for the price

I checked in late that afternoon because my flight was canceled I only stayed a couple hours, but the hotel reaked of weed and so did my room I actually got a headache from the smell, the staff wasn’t that pleasant

The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Only issues we had was that the room only had one wash cloth, the showerhead didn't work, I had to connect the TV myself and the door didn't lock all the way... I had to prop a chair under the door.

I had a great experience except for ants in the pool.

Hotel is old but just book it if you just to sleep and that’s about it

Decent spacious room, pretty clean (but OCD folks won’t like it), good wifi, good satellite TV options. A lot of food options nearby and the airport shuttle is very prompt. Breakfast could have been better, but it wasn’t too bad. I asked the front desk guy (Indian man who worked Saturday evening) if I could store ice cream in their freezer and he said they didn’t have one. When the shifts changed, I asked another worker and they said sure, no problem and promptly stored it for me. I don’t respect liars. This ice cream was very important to me - I spent $60 on it and couldn’t risk it going bad
