Loved everything about the hotel!

Favorite hotel in Hawaii

The location was great and the local history of the hotel was special For the price of the rooms, they are small. And, we noticed a mold odor. Furthermore, guests are forced to eat an expensive buffet breakfast with no other dining options available other than the pool snack outlet. Resort fee is a bit over the top since there are no amenities unique to this hotel that would warrant the fees.

At over $700 per night, plus an additional $129 resort fee, the room was extremely small and overpriced. For this price point, I expected a much better accommodation experience. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration for future guest experiences. Very Disappoint!!!

Windows and vanity need replacing

I love everything about this hotel except the pool experience. More specifically, the lack of pool chairs is extremely frustrating because there is simply not enough of them for the amount of guest on property. If we did not get to the pool by 7 AM each morning we were out of luck for a chair, and the only options were to come back every hour to see if something opened up or pay $125 per day to reserve a chair. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

This is a beautiful historic hotel but being historic has super pricy rooms for little to no access to amenities on property. Very small rooms, tiny bathroom, small pool with little availability to use (we actually couldn't). The beach is steps away but crowded as the location is in the heart of a very busy high end shopping area of the city. You'll have to be very patient to get a seat at the beautiful outside bar/restaurant and limited menu. Great location for heading out of the city to see the sites, Polynesian Cultural Center, North Shore, and Dole Plantation about an hour. Pearl Harbor and Punch Bowl Veterans Cemetery about 30 minutes. International shopping plaza/mall/park garage is conveniently located across the street. Westin has done the best they could with a historic property.

It’s beautiful with a lot of history, near everything in Waikiki Pool to small for all the guests, restaurant and bar open to the public so it’s difficult to find a table

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years & we just love coming back. We are always greeted with a smile from all the staff. Fantastic service & we will be back!

Exceptional

Our housekeepers were incredibly helpful with our water bottle needs and provided us. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, which offered a fantastic view of the Waikiki ocean. We also felt right at home with the bidet. We even enjoyed making our own lei. However, the sink and shower drains are too slow, and the pipes smell.

Everything We lost the hot water once but ir was restored quickly
