Place seems to be aging and slightly neglected. No major issues but things not working every where you look. Tiki torches around property not on, timers for the hot tubs broken, tiles missing from pathways, pool slides not working, pathway lights from lobby to super pool main area were out. Didn’t effect our stay but few samples of many minor issues. Room descriptions aren’t completely clear cut when it comes to the view you will get. Longgggggg check in lines ,no express line or fast check in (that I found). Nothing glamorous, nothing special , nothing terrible just very much….. mehhhh

While large, the property is not as daunting to traverse as some travelers have indicated. We had noise from construction in one of the towers throughout our 5 night stay - made relaxing next to the main pool area an impossibility. Didn't even get a break on a Saturday or Sunday. Also, the elevator situation at the Rainbow tower is indeed pretty challenging. They need to figure out a system for inputting the number of people to board an elevator so that the system does not try to shove 15 or more people into one elevator. All in all, the hotel has everything one may need for a nice stay and I would stay again at this Hilton.

Everything was great! Only complaint was long lines to check in!! The elevators also are slow! But all and all great stay!

Dirty hotel

It’s a great place but elevator waits suck. It’s too crowded but it might be that way at all hotels

Very nice place.

The hotel and property was very beautiful very clean and our rooms are nice and clean. Very nice time.
-
Clearly the hotel needs to upgrade some of the installation the elevator for example needs Maintance not only the appearance but also the functionality it broke down twice during our visit not to mention how crowded it gets they need to improve their first come first serve system they need better control of that specific area.

I liked that everything that we needed was right there in the village.

Clean, good location. Overcrowded. Wifi didn’t work, check-in lines were an outrageous waste of my vacation time. Why does it take so long? Where is the customer service? Pathetic. Not a relaxing experience.

Put us in a room right above the gym. Weights were bouncing and slamming as early as 5:30 am every morning. I asked about the noise with the front desk and security came and validated the noise. Nothing was done. Horrible place to put a gym, we never slept past 6 am. Secondly, they charge a resort fee of $55/day on top of the room rate. For what? Pools? This hotel is a ripoff!

Went on a trip for my mom’ birthday. At check-in, the front staff was amazing in accommodating last minute desired changes. We stayed at the Rainbow tower, ocean front room. It was amazing! The views were unforgettable. We enjoyed the restaurants, shopping, the pool area and the easy access to the beach. There was construction so there was some limitations to access, but not bad at all. The only reason I would give it a lower rating was due to the issues with the elevators. There were times we had to wait for an elevator for well over 15 minutes to go up or down, as well as the temperature in the halls of the tower. I would still stay again!

It was great everything was close by but we originally booked the Diamond Head tower-the room was dark, outdated, and not clean(we found an acrylic nail on the floor and the floor had clearly not been vacuumed. We moved rooms that same day and were moved to the Tapia tower. Soooooo much better, new, upgraded bright and airy but we still didn’t have a full unobstructed view because they placed us on the 4th floor and it was $50 more a night but was well worth it. Overall our stay was nice and the staff was amazing but will probably stay somewhere else because of how crowded it was. We could t enjoy the pools because they were packed to the brim.

Location To many people, had to do too much waiting, 1 hrs in que just to check in, long wait for elevator
-
We like that there are a lot of amenities so conveniently available. The check-in process is ridiculous. The wait time is crazy as the sales pitches and lack of employees make for a long wait. We really didn't appreciate the switch and bait tactic that was attempted to be pulled over us with the included meal credit that we were told was included but that my card would be charged for it at the end of the stay.

Elevators we're a nightmare
