I stayed here for a total of about 9 hours b/c I was in town to cheer for a friend running a race. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean, the coffee was not disgusting. It was completely acceptable and very close to the race I was there for. Thanks.

Pool could be cleaner. Gym, bar, breakfast areas were very good. Closet is divided horizontally, so you cannot hang gowns or long coats inside it. There is no microwave in the room, so you must go the breakfast area to reheat entrees, desserts etc,

Very clean property ,Gym works the AC was not working on day 1 but it was fixed the next day and breakfast have a variety of foods to choose from.

We arrived about two hours before check in, and the front desk was able to accommodate our early arrival-probably helped that it was the middle of the week-and was so kind and welcoming. Our room was very clean, the beds were quite comfortable, and overall our stay was outstanding. We used the pool on our second day and enjoyed it. Breakfast was solid as well, and the coffee was good. There are many restaurants nearby and it was a great location for the event we attended at Fort Monroe. We would absolutely stay again.

Our checkin at 2:00 am was met with the news that all the rooms were gone and since we booked through a third party (don’t many of us?), we were out of luck. Fortunately - we were given an out of service room - which was excellent service from the staff. The carpet had just been cleaned - no problem. But the water pressure was a trickle, the toilet not attached to the floor. We had no housekeeping for a 3 night stay and minimal towels. Will never go again.
