Danielle, who was at the front desk, was wonderful. We had a slight problem with our room and she immediately accompanied us. She was very pleasant and friendly adding to our great stay.

It's obviously an old Inn, rooms are tiny, bathrooms even smaller. Breakfast was well below average, even for a "Continental" breakfast. Restaurant was ok at best.

Beautiful vintage Inn with great breakfast and large rooms

Love the Stephen King hallways. Don’t change a thing. Wallpaper is amazing. Love the historic vibe. Loud AC

The food was very fulfilling at The Old Salt and the atmosphere from the 1700’s was restful.

Just a wonderful end to our Canadian journey. The restaurant was terrific as well! An iconic property with proud caretaking…

The breakfast was good but could have used more fresh fruit besides melon. Maybe offer some hot things for breakfast like pancakes or French toast.

This was my third visit to Lamies Inn and Old Salt Inn. It's great place. It has an old school New England lodging feel with the comfort and conveniences of a modern hotel. Much better than a cookie cutter chain. The restaurant does a nice job as well. I was told there are new owners now which always makes me nervous. My advice to them is to please don't tamper with the successful formula that has worked for decades. That includes keeping the room rates reasonable.

Inadequate lighting Needs more areas to recharge devices and medical equipment Very nice dining room but we were too late to eat Comfortable beds Loud fan noise Something that sounded like a pump was obvious every 3 minutes during part of the night Very nice continental breakfast

But we had to deduct one star from our overall rating because of a few small annoyances. There was no vent fan in the bathroom. The water temperature in the shower could vary unexpectedly when someone in another room flushed their toilet or ran their water. The door required two hands to open; one to turn the key and the other to operate the door latch. The HVAC could be run on HEAT, COOL or FAN ONLY, which is good, but there was a faintly unpleasant odor when running the unit. There was a rather tattered spring-loaded pull down shade on the window that was difficult to adjust. All minor complaints, to be sure, but annoying nonetheless.

We stayed for a night and it was clean, unique and quaint. Rooms had character, but the kind we love. On site, they have the Old Salt which was. AMAZING food. After we took to the bar for Sunday night football. Breakfast in the AM wasn't anything to blow your mind, but it's free and something to grab on your way out. We would definitely stay again.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean, the staff helpful and the restaurant very accommodating with our late arrival.
