Cold water shower, no hot breakfast, no drink options for purchase, air in room is on or off can’t set on auto.

Appreciated the $15 pet fee, which, when compared to the $30-35 fee that some cheaper hotels in the city were charging, made this specific hotel cost competitive AND I think I had a much nicer stay than other hotels would have been. The room was comfortably sized and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Everywhere smelled clean. Only complaint was that the shower didn't get as hot as my partner likes.

The room had an odd smell. The water was not very hot for taking showers. The hot tub was not working. The breakfast was not very good

I booked for a single and I ended up with a double, first room I went into, smelled like it has been smocked in, the guy at the front desk was super nice and gave me another room, spent a quiet night, but in the morning I woke up and saw bed bugs walking on the pillows. Had to leave ASAP.

We have been members ofChoice Hotels for many years and have always enjoyed Comfort Inn.

Our room on the other hand was terrible! As soon as we got to our room & opened our door, it smelt of mold/mildew very badly, the carpet felt grimy/damp, the bedding smelled like it hadn’t been washed, the beds were very small for them being queens, the window blind pulley was broke so we couldn’t let natural light in, the toilet was loose, there was little hot water, the tv kept shutting off on its own, tissue box was empty & there was a screw in the pool area that our daughter almost stepped on. Was not impressed at all. I don’t know how the other rooms were, but it was not a great experience for us. We talked about going to the other hotel we usually stay at, but didn’t want to deal with trying to get our kids & belongings gathered up & we didn’t want to deal with the cancellation & getting refunded.

When we arrived, the TV wouldn’t work. It was set for using Prime or Netflix for a movie. I couldn’t get to the local channels so I had to ask the staff to come in and they did reset it. Then we went to bed and the air conditioner had a weird buzzing and gurgling sound all night long when it was turned off. The room started to smell damp and feel damp. Because I had a dog with me I did not want to make a stink to get switched to another room. But I will say it was hard to sleep with that noise. In the morning. I went to the front desk to talk to someone about it. There was no desk staff in at that point only the maids and the one kitchen staff person. I told the kitchen person I would make a call later to address the situation. Later I called and a young man answered, and I explained my situation to him. He said he had no power to adjust my bill or help me. I would have to talk to the manager I asked when is the manager in this was on a Friday and he said the manager would not be in until Monday. I was appalled that there is no one in charge at this hotel. I told him this could be a health issue with it humidity and also no one will want to be in that room with that noise going on during the night. Also, in the morning, the TV was not working because it was in need of being reset again. I stay in a lot of hotels. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.

I liked the location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was clean and welcoming. The bathroom was clean. The room for the most part was clean. When my key stopped working the gentleman working at the desk fixed it right away and was very polite. There is a vending machine for drinks. The room appeared to be cleaned however when we were putting our stuff down we found that there was an item left in the room. I am assuming it was from a previous guest. Under the air conditioner the floor was dirty. There was no drinking water. Going to the swimming pool, it was hot like no air was going through. There was no light to turn on when it started to get dark. There were dirty used pool towels on the floor. No other towels for use could be found. They grass/ dog area the trash was over flowing and trash all over the grass and parking lot.

Nothing no necessary

Elevator floor sticky, warm water in tub, air conditioning kept going off & it got hot in the room. I have stayed there many times with no problems but this stay was horrible. Don’t know if l will stay there again
-
The door was very hard to get open, because the door frame and door lock was sticking. My shower had no hot water.

Breakfast was wonderful

The staff insulted the town that I live in for no reason at check in. The water in the shower was luke warm at best at night and cold in the morning. The staff closed the pool at 9 even though the book says 10 and the hot tub did not work. The cable box did not work in room 216 ( there was no cable to the box), the other 2 rooms that I rented, for our get together, did. Also the wifi was not good enough to stream the free channels on their vizio. Our room had less than a 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper, not going to work with my wife and 2 daughters, and the staff gave my wife an attitude when asking for another roll. I didn't bother trying their breakfast so can't comment on that but the place sucks and we will not be back.

Great place to stay....highly recommend!
-
Bed was extremely comfortable!

We were also not able to use the pool-it was under some kind of repairs or maintenance, or waiting for certification. We got several different stories from the clerks. One of the clerks did give us a discount because of that-which we appreciated.

Spotless, comfortable bed, AC effective, decent breakfast and parking. Close enough to downtown St Louis. We enjoyed dinner in the baseball stadium. Pre buy tickets to the Arch or you can’t go up into it ☹️

A place that wish I would could of gone back in time and reserved a place where the pool worked, the bed sheets didn’t have wholes in them and the door to the room didn’t have to break into every time you were trying to get in or out of. Then on top of that you get multiple charges of certain amounts when you were told by the staff at the front desk that it was only going to cost me a certain amount and I kept getting charged more and more. I go to the front desk and I just keep getting the run around from the General Manager as well.

Front desk was absent most of the stay, upon check in he was in back room with his feet up had to c all for him, anf he was rude and they refused cash. The lobby smelled like Sulphur, the lemon water on the lobby wasn't changed for days. Upon getting to the room the smell of cooking food filled the hallway and the room door was malfunctioning. The hot tub pool.and fitness center were out of order, tje only reasons I booked this property was for those amenities with bad back and family with mu small grandchildren coming to vist so had to cancel plans. After checking in there was a group of people smoking Marijuana in the parking lot, I was never told about breakfast wjen wr arrived there was caution rope across the food area based on the other amenities a sage assumption was not available until our last day checking out three was food . I would never book here again and intend on contacting the hotels.com app again for a credit. The property was not as advertised, oj and they stole my wife's hair towel.she uses after getting it dyed.
