Radisson Hotel Akron/Fairlawn

This Radisson was under construction which is fine but wasn’t informed ahead of time. When we arrived and were given keys to our room, it had not been cleaned yet. I had reserved our just one king bed room months ago but the only other room they had open was a double of fulls sized beds. It smelled like weed from probable tenants down the hallway and was quite loud. We were thankful for at least a dry place to stay but was a little disappointed in the deception of the conditions of the hotel.

I chose not to stay here as the property was clearly under construction and I was not able to be accommodated properly. Quite upset that the property’s condition was not revealed ahead of time. I would have made other plans elsewhere.

The entire hotel was wrapped in plastic , the amenities were not available there was no pool bar or breakfast as advertised . Our room was disgusting & cold and damp. We left early and got a refund .

It was not worth my money

The hotel itself was under construction and several of the reasons we chose the hotel were closed off to us, but they didn't tell us until we were checking in. Additionally, the room itself clearly wasn't ready for us to be in it.

The hotel is under construction and renovation. Thankfully nothing was being done over the weekend we stayed however there were fruit flies everywhere! In the room and throughout the hotel. Many many fruit flies.

Beds were deflated toilet seat came off microwave and mini fridge were disgusting front desk lady was amazing though!

It was under construction so there isn’t much to say.

Staff is great, amenities and maintenance lacked luster. Entire hotel looks feels and operated old and unkempt.

Our first room was not cleaned at all, the bed was laid in and the towels were dirty. After we got our room changed the room was missing the fridge and a microwave and the bath was dirty as well.

My Room was outdated and not clean. It also smelled really bad like mildew in the room. My bed looked like it was laid on when we first entered the room upon check-in. The pillows were not straight and the covers had a body shaped dent on it as if someone laid on top of the bed before we checked in. This property needs to be immediately shut down. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE BOOKS OR STAYS HERE!!! so sad and so disgusting!! they also need to hire better staff. I will never step foot in this hotel a day in my life again.

My husband ended up with bites all over his body, construction throughout building.. not very clean

The carpet was filthy dirty…..no breakfast served. Yes it’s being remodeled….but!!!

The hotel is under reconstruction, and you're not informed when you book your reservation. No breakfast, not kitchenette, pool, and no other amenities.

This hotel is under construction. The restaurant, bar, hottub, and continental breakfast all were shut down. The pool was very cold not usable. Carpet very dirty in the hall, walls in the room not clean, the toilet leaked all the time, and bathtub drain was very slow. I normally dont give this type of review but this needs to be noted for other travelers.

Has a four day stay. Check in was slow as sign asked to call when arriving at the desk. One other patron was also waiting. Check in itself was easy and fine. Room was ok. I did not need the microwave which was good as the door did not latch shut. I notified desk at check out. Carpet had a few fray edges and could use cleaning. Bed was great with nice soft pillows. I received a text saying maid service would be provided after 3 days. I did not need it but it never happened. Trash cans were pretty full but I had enough towels. I had some trouble with keys not working and the second time I went to the desk the clerk told me my phone may have been the cause. I did keep one in the same pocket as my phone but the second key was in my wallet. I wish he told me that the first time it occurred. Pool was closed and there was ongoing renovations. I did not notice any noise from construction so that was only an appearance issue. Location was great and overall I may give the property another chance if pool is open and other issues were addressed.

Travel three hours just to get a break and was not notified. The property was being remodeled and there would be no pool or hot tub.. a complete and total waste

Mattresses were broke down. Room was not what I reserved. No amenities. Staff didn’t have no other rooms available to put me in. Door was open when I went to my room. Key cards worked only half the time.
