Initially, the staff was not willing to acknowledge that I had been charged twice. It took nearly 50 minutes and involvement from a manager before they confirmed that the hotel had accidentally charged my card a second time. I was told this was a mistake made by a new employee. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of apology or concern about the situation. The additional charge could easily have gone unnoticed if I had not been carefully monitoring my bank and credit card activity. Unfortunately, the room itself had issues as well. The bathroom tub was not clean, and the AC was not functioning properly. The breakfast experience was also disappointing. Many of the items were already gone, and at one point the juice dispenser was dispensing water instead of apple juice. Again, there was little effort to acknowledge or address the inconvenience. Overall, the combination of the duplicate charge, the amount of time it took to resolve it, the condition of the room, and the poor breakfast experience made this a very disappointing stay. I arrived and the soap dispenser at the sink was empty. I asked housekeeping to please fill it. Never did. Had to go into the shower every time I needed soap. Shampoo was low. Ran out of tissue. Breakfast was pretty much the same every morning. The room and lobby were clean.

This is a great hotel with the standard powdered eggs breakfast. That is the only reason I rated it 4 stars. The breakfast could be a little better. The rooms really keep out noise. The beds are comfy. The staff is very friendly and it is in a great location.

The property is located in a very convenient location. The room was very nice, breakfast was fine, all in all the hotel is very nice. However, they were struggling with Housekeeping due to a shortage of staff. We understood that they actually borrowed Housekeeping staff from a Sister hotel 120 miles away. We arrived at the hotel around 7 PM and still did not have a clean room until after 8:15. There are a few things in the hotel that need maintenance, but you could tell they were in the process of fixing it.
