Room is beautiful and very clean! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view from outside patio. We ate both dinner for our anniversary and breakfast at the Silos restaurant on site. Would recommend this establishment to couples or families. Would stay again in a heart beat! Thank you Pier B!

Seemed a little pricey for the amenities and the rooms. The gym was a joke and the rooms were average but at well above average prices for a Tuesday night.

I traveled with my husband and our 15 weeks old puppy to the BWCA and wanted to stop in Duluth on the way back to enjoy the last day and unwind. I chose Pier B because it is pet friendly and has a nice restaurant on site. What a wonderful discovery. This became my hotel of choice in Duluth from here on out. Rooms are beautiful (we had a king mini suite with a soaking tub and spectacular view of the harbour and the lift bridge). The staff are soooo friendly and loved our puppy. We did not get to eat dinner at the restaurant, because it too late by the time we arrived and settled in, but there was a late pizza service, so we ate pizza at the bar with a bottle of nice wine. We did eat breakfast at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Animals are not allowed inside the restaurant, so we order our food to go and had our meal outside on a patio with a few. There was so much to do in our short stay - outdoor Jacuzzi (open year around - we’ll be back around Christmas for that experience), multiple fire pits (s’more kits provide at the front desk), various bridge view decks, available for the guests. I was up early in the morning and took a stroll at sunrise with my puppy along the shore. Lots of walking paths available. After we checked out we all walked to canal park (15 min walk), and kept going on the boardwalk to the lift bridge, then the light house, and settled in for a wonderful lunch at the canal park brewery. Amazing experience!

I don’t want to encourage more people to know about this gem, but it is truly a special place. I can certainly understand why it is so expensive! We’re not really s’mores people, but they provide s’mores kits and there are a dozen, or more, fire pits around the property to make them. If you are a social person, this is great. We didn’t use the saunas, but we saw people going from the sauna then plunging into the designated “pool” in Lake Superior. The views are great from most places on the property. The Silos restaurant had great food, and they were so fast! So much more to talk about, but discover that on your own!

Great staff!!! Wonderful place besides the spiders and webs!!!

The staff was wonderful!! We had my daughters wedding and resection there!!! The only complaint would be large spiderwebs and spiders all over!!!

It was a lovely stay. Only disappointment was that the hot tub was down for maintenance. That was one of the biggest reasons we chose the hotel for our stay in Duluth.
-
The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The parking arrangement was a major disappointment. Elder guest, even in good health, should not have to park remotely, particularly in poor weather.
-
Excellent location, very nice staff and clean rooms.
-
I didn’t like the fact that breakfast was supposedly included, but it didn’t include coffee, only one breakfast entree. Anything additional was billed to the guest.
-
Staff were great. Shuttle was a perk. Pool and hot tub were great but lots of dirty towels lying everywhere. Room was comfy. Towels were nice. Table is too tall for the corner bench. View was fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay. Great views of the lake. Rooms are very nice.
-
Great central location to every activity we were doing that weekend. The best food in the city we found over the weekend was here and the smores at the end of the evening was a great touch where we met some interesting folks. Beautiful room, spacious bathroom, and just overall a great experience

Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs, will book here again

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pier B Resort Hotel. The hotel is nicely located near the Duluth harbor with a beautiful view of the Duluth Arial Lift Bridge close enough to Canal street to easily reach all the restaurants and action there, but just far enough away to leave the traffic congestion, poor parking availability and noise behind. We had a few minor issues with our room, but really liked the view from the room and that the HVAC system worked nicely to cool down the room. The Silos restaurant has a very interesting menu and the outdoor patio area also had beautiful vista views of Park Point and the lift bridge. It’s quite fun to listen to the ships as they near the lift bridge and signal their intentions. The hotel staff lights the pit fires out by the harbor every evening and the hotel provides free s’mores kits for the guests. A very nice amenity. One suggestion would be for the room cleaning staff to double-check the bathroom facilities. The sink in our bathroom was extremely slow to drain and that’s something that I would have expected the staff to discover and report to the maintenance team. The only real complaint we had was really nothing to do with the hotel itself, but with it’s location across the canal from the Bayfront Festival Park. If you’re considering staying at the Pier B Resort, you’d be wise to check for any events at the park that may coincide with your trip dates. We discovered that there was a weekend Tribute concert at the park which we had no particular desire to attend. The loud rock music could be heard throughout the hotel and in our room for the entire weekend solidly from 11:30AM to 10:30PM. That was really tiresome and annoying. Just be forewarned.

Love the location, services, rooms and amenities. Was not able to stream on the TV. TV would not load and kept turning itself off. Only could watch the one channel it was stuck on.
-
We loved staying at this hotel with our family. So much to do and see, and close to everything!
