Motel 6 Dothan, AL

The room was ok. Except when we were leaving we found n saw a crawling bed bug on the other bed we weren't using. Glad I kept my stuff in the car.

Property was located in a close and safe area near where I needed to be. The staff was professional and showed excellence in there assistance.

Good location and accommodated our room request. Door lock did not work and bedding was not comfortable.

I really appreciated how nice and helpful the employees were during my stay. Whenever I brought up a concern, they did their best to make me feel comfortable and safe. I also really loved that the hotel was pet-friendly. Unfortunately, my room was dirty when I first arrived. I ended up going to the store to buy cleaning supplies and sheets because I was already overwhelmed when I got there. One of the things I expect when staying at a hotel is for the room to be clean and for the environment to feel safe and comfortable. I also noticed that the AC unit was dirty and appeared to have mold. I reported it to the staff, and over the next couple of days, they took the issue seriously. They eventually hired a company to inspect and clean the AC units throughout the building. I appreciated that they listened to my concerns and took steps to address the problem. Overall, the employees were kind, responsive, and genuinely seemed to care about making guests feel comfortable. However, the cleanliness of the room and the condition of the AC were significant concerns that I believe should be addressed before guests check in. What I didn’t like about the motel was the cleanliness, especially in the back area of the property. I feel like they need to do a much better job with cleaning and maintaining the rooms. The bed sheets and towels should be cleaner and handled more carefully to make sure there are no signs that they were previously used by another guest. The AC units also need to be cleaned and maintained better. In addition, the bathroom vents need to be cleaned out because they had a noticeable amount of dust buildup. Overall, I think the motel needs to pay more attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and regular maintenance to make the stay more comfortable for guests.

Nuthin the service sticks n it took them 3 weeks to return my money for ask Ron I nvr stayed in smh could nvr contact owner threw email n staff didn't know nuthin they was doing n the one hired just been there ah well n didn't know wat she was doing

Staff was nice but the property and room was Not very clean at all. The site they also advertised on that I booked from showed a VERY different picture. There was no nice clear pool to swim in as advertised it was more like a drained pool with trash in it.

I was a hotel manager in the central Florida area years ago, and always thought that when a customer pays for a room, even for 1 night, they pay for peace and relaxation... however, check out time is 11 am, housekeeping still knocked on my room door at 9:30 am, waking me up...very unacceptable...

Jennifer, the front desk staff was very helpful to me. I appreciate all that she has done and she deserves a bonus for her hard work. The room that I was in was a handicap room, which can use a shower chair in the shower for people who have mobility issues or disable people
