The room was wonderful… staff very well informed…

Lobby was lush and clean and inviting as was the other end of venue near pool to gather. Welcoming coffee, water etc. However, despite a myriad of signs inviting folks to attend this or that local event, there were signs about times. Time for dinner, bar breakfast...although NO ONE told us about the bar "Happy Hour" Literally 1 hr from 530 to 630 pm until we picked up menus for dinner in the restaurant at 637pm..."too late for the specials". Two huge signs boasted a program for obtaining honor points for earing and drinking on property. However, no one told us that the only way to get those points was not just to eat and drink there,but must pay by "charging to the room, or with a Hilton cc". Again no one said this before they charged our business cc for our bill and we lost the point opportunity although we could have charged to the room easily! The bed was comfy, wonderful towels even at the very noisy pool, and good shower, the room was nothing special for the price.

The day we arrived you were having some kind of Darts competition. The lobby was filled with drunk people and a bad smell of pot and cigarettes. People were hanging out all over the parking lot drinking. Cigarette buts everywhere. We basically stayed in our room afraid to go outside.

The place looked very nice. I am a long time resident of decatur alabama and me and many of my family ans friends have hosted small birthday parties for kids here. My daughter turned 6 and begged for a pool but due to labor day being before her birthday I only had the option of a hotel. I chose this specific one for 1 reason this is the hotel that everyone has there kids parties at. Only myself and 4 kids were staying the night there were a few people that came to swim also. We were approached by the front desk manager for having 7 people in the pool area and were told only 6 people allowed. We were then threatened with the police, no one was acting erratic or doing anything wrong just swimming all the kids were girls and under the age 8. 3 of the people were adults just watching there kids making sure they dont drown. We brought up the fact that's what they were doing. Never the less the avoid my daughters birthday being messed up we condensed it down to 6 people in the pool area. We were continously watched and observed the rest of the time in the pool. Later on in the night there was a group of white people who had 7 in their party all enjoyed the pool with no harassment and no one saying a word to them. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I will never visit this place of recommend again.

Need new pillows-absolutely no support for sleeping

This was a great hotel! We were greeted when we arrived and provided warm cookies after check in. The rooms very spacious and clean. The pool was so much fun! Our two children loved it.

This is an older hotel in need of an update. Not very clean either.

Great stay I enjoyed it. I need to come and stay longer
