Super nice and friendly staff Horrendous quality

Solid experience, nothing broken or damaged, very easy to get a parking permit for the night, and friendly staff. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay for a night or two while traveling, this is a great option. Just don't expect any luxury amenities, and you will have zero complaints :)

Full of homeless people, unsanitary property.

TLDR - if you want a cheap place to lay down while in Davis, this will do. Do not get there with any expectation. It’s mostly an “extended stay” motel with the vast majority of occupants living here year-round. They think they own the place and will be loud, smoke, drink, etc. in front of your door. The room was superficially clean (don’t look under the beds, it’s disgusting - and the floors are super slimy) and is dated, but the beds were comfortable enough. I saw some rooms being nicely remodeled so you might get lucky. Lots of cockroaches initially in the room, but didn’t see any more after killing the ones I saw the first night. The smell is… well I got used to it. Good water pressure but the shower curtain was flimsily attached. No shampoo provided, and the towels were thin and on their last breath. Microwave in the room, but no fridge. Lots of young kids live here so I think it’s fine to be with children. The pool looked like it was regularly cleaned but no one was using it. Staff at the reception was chill… when there’s someone there. Very often there’s no one. I’ve been to much worse places that were more expensive but also to many places that were nicer and cheaper.

The bed had stains. The shower had hair. There were dead bugs on the floor. My neighbors to the left of me seem to be living there with a dog and they just let it bark. The neighbor to the right of me seem to live there as well and had the police come do a welfare check on them. I was there for 20min tops before I asked the clerk for a refund. Do not stay here.

Not recommended super dirty and homeless in the facility

This is the first time I have ever left a room for another hotel. This is more of an extended stay motel, not a place to stay when in town for a couple days. I knew it was a discount hotel, but expected basic cleanliness. There was a streak of brown something on the wall over one bed and the sheets had cigarette burns and were covered in grease stains. No TV or phone and signs were they had been torn from the walls. Punched and shattered glass divider between me and the clerk at check in. It felt really unsafe to be there and so I left.

Roaches urine smells

The fly in my room all night was annoying as were the 2 bugs I saw crawling. There was only a half roll of toilet paper in the room - no spare rolls. The bed and bedding were comfortable and clean. Neighbors were noisy.

Its a simple property but for a one night stay its ok

I do not feel comfortable staying here and will not be staying at this property. I am requesting a full refund because the accommodation I received is not what I paid for or what was advertised.

Location, Staff, Clean, best Survey Cost ( keeping this data in mind for return trips... Serious problems with the (Compression or Lack there of) Matress. Most (Medically Recommended) healthy Sleep Position is Left Side. Ever so Slight Depression that does not conform to Human Left Side position. The Facility and Staff are Very good, otherwise... Shop around for comfortable (top) Bed Matesses...

It had a foul odor and I found two roaches in the room

A few things: I saw they rebranded and visited their website. The pictures on there are fake. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I stayed here years ago when it was the Motel 6 and kept reasonably clean. This is now basically a homeless camp. People BBQing outside their door. Dogs running around the parking lot. Everyone chain smoking on the balconies. There are clotheslines strung from stairs. People sit in their broken cars for hours, waiting on the money to get a room for the night. This is not a hotel, this is the projects. Do NOT stay here. I cannot believe this was in Davis. I’m a grown man and once I got my things in my room, I moved my car a quarter mile to a neighborhood for safe keeping, and walked back. There are broken down cars in that lot that are filled with “stuff” and haven’t moved in months. Had to pass by multiple questionable characters just sitting in folding chairs outside their rooms to get to mine. Just powered through, locked myself in for the evening. Music blasting until around 1am. There were families of cockroaches in my room that I discovered overnight, and the next morning realized the smoke detector was covered with plastic wrap — which isn’t surprising at all since the room smelled like an ashtray. I want my $78 back. I’m stunned they’re even listed as a hotel since everyone but me clearly lived there. This by far is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Shower never got warm. Sink was broken. Dirt stains all over walls. Always smelled like weed. Loud throughout the night.

The rooms were dirty!

The place was over booked so I showed up at the last minute since it was graduation weekend. They opened a room for me that was originally closed for some reason. Ten minutes car ride from campus. Worth the good price we paid. Starbucks close by. Onsite parking. Felt safe. Lots of local residents here it seemed. But the staff were very accommodating and got us a room. Thank you 🙏

Seems like families live here full time. Everyone was nice but there was screaming and so so many children running around. Not a lot of parking either
