Holiday Inn Chicago Nw Crystal Lk Conv Ctr by IHG

The hotel is the best as always.

No hot water

About an hour after we checked in, a note was slipped under the door that the water would be shut off between 10 pm and 5 am. When we checked out at 8:15, there was still no hot water and a notice had been posted on the hotel entry door that the fire safety system was not working. Those are life safety issues. Had a fire occurred anywhere in the building, the entire building was at risk due to no water. Management is not on site and did nothing to mitigate the dangers.

It was easy to get to. Our room smelled like chlorine from the pool being below it. It really bothered my eyes. There was three of us in the room and we hooked breakfast vouchers and when we got there then was told it was only for 2 people led so one of us did not eat. It was also warm in the room.

Bad

The jacuzzi tub was dirty. Sticky things on the wall by jacuzzi tub. Shower was dirty and epoxy peeling off. Bed was comfy and room was massive but it was just dirty.

the room was very clean and very nice the staff member i talked to in the morning was honestly a bit rude

It was clean and the room was spacious. Breakfast was good.

Nice place, good little bar, clean rooms.

Very good

Beds were very uncomfotable. Had to have someone come in and flip the mattress. Took for ever.. Ac unit way to close to the bed. Swimming pool, we all got some kind of infection from the pool. Pink eye, or a bacterial infection. Not happy about that. We all had to go to emergency care. We won't be coming back. The carpets need to be cleaned in the rooms.

Very good

It was nice to have parking included. The laundry facilities were helpful.

Beautiful hotel!

Aged property but clean. The restaurant served raw chicken and still tried to charge for the meal without offer of replacement.

This hotel is extremely dated. The view from my second floor room is a concrete wall. Air conditioner creates a lot of noise. Overall you get what you pay for, so just be aware that this hotel is very old, but had all the basics covered. Frig, micro, iron and a comfortable bed. The room was clean and the maintenance crew was very attentive to help me change out the batteries in my remote control for the TV. Parking lot had plenty of room for our large truck. I did not eat here so I can not account for the quality of the food or the service.

Great visit. Everything was just as we expected. Bed was very comfortable this trip

Perfect for what we needed

Staff was very helpful. The answer all my question and were very respectful to my question as an older person

Clean rooms and excellent staff.
