We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to the beach and other surrounding areas. Unfortunately there were ants in our room. Initially we thought only a few in the sink/bathroom area but then we noticed them on the ceiling in the room. We informed someone at the front desk and felt brushed off.

Property was fine although a little tired. They were going through construction and remodel.

Old property that needs renovation. Should have stayed somewhere else. It’s been taken over as I found out on departure but too late for us.

I had a great day at this location. It was my first time staying with them, but I enjoyed myself unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to try their breakfast because I started my day super early. I appreciate the staff, the location and the beauty of the room.

Proximity to Newport Beach and lots of food/shopping options nearby. The office manager, Gary, was awesome! Breakfast was very good. Ants in the sink, bad water pressure in the shower, coffee maker didn’t work.

The hours of breakfast were not normal. Our first room had ants and they did allow us to move to another room which we did quick and went out for the evening but when we got back we found ants in that room as well. The whole place needs to be updated. You get what you pay for

This property is in the midst of remodeling, so the parking lot is full of construction materials. Once the remodeling is complete, it should be great.

The breakfast, while appreciated, is a bit underwhelming. All together, I'd still stay there again. I do need to follow up with Expedia though. The purpose to book through these sites is to save some money rather than booking directly. I was given an invoice when checking out and it showed the total to be about $75 less than what I paid to expedia......hmm.

The staff was amazing! The noise was bad. The door slamming due to the improper mechanism design was just awful! You heard every door slam and early morning checkout was sooooooo loud! We couldn't sleep in past 6:30 am. We drove all day and evening and that was just disappointing. Beds need to be upgraded as they are not comfortable at all. Pillows were okay

Breakfast was tasty. There were several options to choose from - scrambled eggs, waffles, rolls, and cereal to name a few. Food was refilled as needed, and the food area was clean. It was nice to have a breakfast option at the hotel.
