Great location. Perfect part of Manitou. The place is under construction, but it didn't matter because it was quiet and the rooms are pleasant.
-
I’ve stayed here before and love the place! Very historic hotel with added benefit of being close to everything in Manitou Springs. Nice rooms that have been renovated (the hotel is currently undergoing more upgrades but it didn’t interfere with our stay). My wife and I especially love the arcade across the street and lots of restaurants and shopping.

The staff was really nice and helped us look another night because we were too tired to travel again that day.
-
The room was clean, there was a lot of bath towels, extra pillows. The staff was friendly and very helpful

Hotel is currently being renovated with miter saws roaring right behind the front desk when you check in. The building is historic and beautiful. The Montana Bar is renovated and nice. But the cocktails are over priced and staff is still clearly being trained as evidenced by the the bartender reviewing instructions on how to make the signature cocktails on the first page of their menu.
-
Property is really run down. Staff is very self entitled, they know there is not much available around. It’s going through renovations but of course they don’t tell you before you make your reservation.
-
Location, history, nice porch, nice bar, room had the amenities we needed. Under renovation, which was loud and a little unsightly. They did try to keep us away from the inconvenience. Shower was cold and took a lesson to operate. Slow drain that made showering unpleasant.
-
Nice old hotel undergoing needed renovations. Room was kinda small. Bathroom had that musty smell. Carpets throughout hotel are old and dirty. Staff great bar very nice. Main restaurant closed although serving its menu at one of the bars. Great location to all of manitou and surrounding area. When renovations are done I would likely recommend. At this point i would not.

We enjoyed staying there and would definitely stay there again.
-
I liked the location and the historic value of the hotel. That there was no coffee downstairs or snack options. Only options for any type of breakfast is to eat in the restaurant.
-
The Buffalo Bar was a lovely place to have an evening cocktail . The ambiance and music choice was so very appropriate to the history . We had breakfast n the dining room and it was very good . All of the staff was very helpful .
-
Under renovation so things were a little hectic. Lobby was noisy and small. Dining room was actually the bar, being used until renovation is done. Food was excellent, and we enjoyed a classical guitarist for dinner. Water is wonderful. Great water pressure for showers. Parking is $20 per night, but you are within walking distance to everything. Free Metro Shuttle was easy to use.

Nice historic hotel in a great location. Construction going on. Needs a good face-lift. Carpet in the hallways need replaced.
-
Clean room, well appointed, helpful staff, swift valet service and the Buffalo Room bar had excellent staff, food and drinks in a great atmosphere with great background music (not too loud too).
