It was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were friendly. Enjoyed our stay very much. I wish there would have been an earlier option for breakfast on Saturday. Or, if there was something available other than the restaurant, no one told us

We booked at the Hilton Garden Inn based on the generally positive reviews. Apparently it is a recent remodel of an older, very large hotel, The Monarch. We didn't realize it was directly across from an interstate and backed by a busy main route. We moved from the interstate side, which was shockingly loud, to the back side, which was noisy during rush hour. The lobby is a large, empty, odd, and uninviting space. The reception desk was friendly and efficient. The building is vast and the corridors long, and they have been recently carpeted with some material that has a strong, chemical, perhaps toxic odor that seeps even into the rooms. The room was newly remodeled and efficient, but not luxurious. The perk was a large screen TV. The bathroom is uncomfortably small, and they make you get soap from wall dispensers at the sink and shower. Fine if you also give bars and bottles, which they don't. Beds weren't made on the first night of a three-night stay. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't stay here again.

The room was pretty clean and the staff were really nice. I can tell this place had a refresh. Only wish was there was a hottub.

Dirty laundry sat in a corner of the where the ice was for 2 days & so was garbage. While we were there it was never cleaned up. Other than that, the food & rooms were excellent.

It’s a good and clean hotel. But customer service sucks.

Location is great with lots of dining and shopping options near. Plenty of parking. Favorite place to stay in Clackamas.

This was a great hotel to stay at. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hotel is located in the middle of many retail places and is a middle point of hiking trails if you plan to go hiking. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Friendly Staff

Very convenient nice hotel. They’re changing over from the previous owner so there was some issue with the changes but otherwise great staff and great location and clean rooms.

It is a clean, spacious, well-maintained hotel. It was quiet and easy to sleep. Things like shower temperature and bedding were perfect. I would easily stay here again.
