My parents wanted to take a trip to Cherokee to celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. This looked like a nice hotel, so my mom booked rooms. She has stage 4 liver cancer so I went along to help load and unload her wheelchair and in case they had any problems. When we arrived, the manager/owner would not allow my parents to stay in one of the rooms together and me in the other. I had accidentally left my wallet at home and didn't have my driver's license with me, so they said I wasn't allowed to stay in a room alone. I had a work photo ID and a debit and credit cards with my name. Both rooms had a card on file to cover any incidentals. Not only this, but we were also told by the lady at the front desk that the owner/manager would watch the camera to insure that my mom stayed in one room and my dad in the other. They are 77 and 76 and have rarely spent a night apart. I'm 50 years old and because I had forgotten my ID, I wasn't allowed in a room alone one door down from theirs.

The hotel provided. Clean room with the expected amenities. The room coffee is awful, but it is everywhere else, so just deal with it. We did not eat the breakfast but went to Peter’s Pancake Hose which was excellent.

Staff was awesome!! Hotel was clean, very quiet, well maintained. Room was very clean and comfortable. Continental Breakfast could offer more choices like eggs, potatoes, sausage. It was lacking.

The overall room was clean, but you can smell that it used to be a smoking floor. The outside key scans were not working while we were there and the lady at the front desk at night my car the first time so we had to go back down and get her to reactivate our card. The coffee was absolutely horrible. Never had coffee taste that bad in my life. Not worth the money for our first trip to Cherokee we should’ve stayed at the casino. We were upset that they closed the hot tub at 7 o’clock. Which gave us no time in the afternoon to enjoy it.

The staff was wonderful and the facilities are great! Toilets are the very short ones and should be replaced. Hard for older people to get up.

It was very convenient and walkable to Harris’s Cherokee Casino, which was right across the street Our opinion is the property needs updating. The carpet and the elevators smelled really bad as well as the carpet in our room.

Staff was very nice. No USB ports at all. Breakfast was sub par. The orange juice was very watery and the coffee is very bad.
-
The property and room was very clean, and it was within walking distance to the casino. The front staff were friendly and welcoming.
