Sleep Inn Charlotte University Place

Great

The staff was apologetic and accommodating. It smelled like weed. The AC made an odd noise every few minutes. There were guest being loud and running in the halls and in their rooms. Safety issue with the bathroom where there was water literally coming through the light fixture in the shower....yes the SHOWER! The light in the shower would flicker when turned on. And our room appeared to not have vacuumed prior to our arrival and the bed was horrible... I got maybe 3 hrs of sleep.

Great customer service

The hotel smells like ganja and the room smelled funky. However, their staff is super friendly and warm.

The hotel needs some painting and remodeling. The room was clean but it needed fresh paint job & updating, Many of the ice machines were broken, Too many people hang around outside the hotel. The back door to the hotel was not accessible from parking lot. Room was never cleaned & had to take our used towels to the front desk to get new towels. You get what you pay for I guess.

Pool did not work as advertised. Smelled like mariguana.

No bells and whistles, but a nice hotel for the price. Continental breakfast is weak, but there is an IHOP in walking distance.

The staff was great friendly and always willing to help the build just needs A little updating.

Rooms smelled like weed. Front desk gave us the wrong key to someone elses room when we got there. I went into my room and someone was in ther

This was the best stay at sleep inn so far. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best and cleanest properties. Next to food gas and Carowinds. We only stayed for a couple of nights. Will definitely rebook in the future.

The room we checked into still had the spittle from someone brushing their teeth on the mirror and the shower had something that should not have been there in the drain. The cleaning staff clearly shorted our room and that needs to be addressed.

The staff was wonderful! Very helpful! Shower could use better cleaning. There was garbage under our clean garbage bag and open food left in mini fridge.

Front desk personnel Breakfast was bland, no shampoo in shower

very good staff who really take care of you

Not a return visit or recommendation for this hotel.

Breakfast bar sucked too. Out of eggs by 8am. I'm avoiding this place forever

Would not recommend staying here, felt unsafe and left a day early to stay at a better hotel.

Room was never cleaned. Left for 5 hours and came back. Still not clean. At 10pm changed rooms Went to sleep and at 12:30am got a call from the front desk asking why I was in that room and what was the number of the other room. Ridiculous

The light was out in the bathroom. Ongoing housekeeping would have been nice. Blow dryer didn’t work. Temperature in shower was barely hot. Had to take luke warm showers throughout our whole stay.

The staff. The room was still dirty, it had someone else’s hair in the bathroom. The shower door wouldn’t shut. The heat was turned on in summer, so the room was not cooled. The entire facility smelled of recreational activities.
