Super 8 by Wyndham Chamberlain SD

If you go there ...request second floor.

The hotel was very old and needs a renovation (i.e. sloping floors, cracks in ceilings, strange smell from air conditioner, etc.) but did the job. Great bedding, comfortable mattress, decent bathroom. Breakfast was a bit undesirable, but I was there closer to the end of the breakfast time and ending up finding a great stop in Main St. Cafe (highly recommend!). Everyone should know there is NO ELEVATOR to get to either of the split-level floors, so not recommended for disabled guests or guests with heavy bags like golf clubs, large suitcases, etc.

The room was comfortable; I chose it specifically so my husband could relax in the comfortable recliner while he watched a football game. However, the TV remote only worked sporadically. We were given new batteries but that did not help. I asked the desk clerk ( who was seldom at the desk) for help but she said she didn’t know anything about their tv system. After 3 hours if pushing various buttons he eventually was able to watch just a small part of the game. Breakfast the next morning when I went consisted of cold, fake tasting scrambled eggs and the potatoes or sausage or whatever was to go with it was gone. waffle batter was also gone and the only bread for toast was cheap white bread. I won’t be staying there again.

We stayed at the Super 8 for only one night. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and engaging. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was convenient to the freeway, the staff was responsive, and the breakfast room and food were very good.

Beds were clean and comfortable but upon entering the room it had a slight negative odor. Staff pleasant and courteous.

What a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and a wonderful view of the river. We would go out of our way to stay here again.

Unclean, staff was brash, pool filthy, spa and steam room boarded up.

Staff was very friendly and went out o their way to make sure we had what we needed.

The location is easy off and on to the interstate. Breakfast was quick and easy for our travel schedule. Parking is plentiful. The room was super clean! Appreciated the abundance of counter space. The property could use new carpet and a coat of paint in the rooms and hallways.

This definitely needs an update. The food for breakfast was ok.

Our accommodations were nothing like what was pictured. We will never stay there again.
