The bathroom was disgusting with dead bugs. The air conditioner was filthy, I had to use my own cleaning supplies to clean it before I was comfortable to turn on. Then once in use, you could smell the mildew/mold. I will note that it did appear that the bedding was clean, but that was about it. There was dust on top of everything and even the floor was clearly dirty and not appeared to have been cleaned. I would not stay here again.

What a mess! When we settled into the room, we noticed the door didn’t close fully at the top, as if the wood was warped. We didn’t think much of it at the time because it closed and locked okay. Then when we returned from dinner, the door wouldn’t open. All our belongings were locked inside! It took a couple hours for them to find a solution — and it was crazy. A guy removed the grate for the AC vent below the window and literally pushed the AC unit into the room with his legs! Then he climbed into the room from the AC opening! We photo photos! They gave us a new room, which had a wonderful dead cockroach in the bathroom, but otherwise was sufficient for the night. We would have preferred going someplace else, but it was Family Weekend at ISU and every affordable motel was fully booked. I expected a full refund for this inconvenience, but they only took $20.00 off our stay! Never again.

The breakfast was meager at best. There was no charge for our dog. The outside property was very dirty. Cobwebs in the handrails. The room was clean except for the floor. The TV didn’t work and the refrigerator door wouldn’t shut all the way. There were water stains on the ceiling - possibly with active (orange) mold growing. One outlet didn’t work. We had multiple card keys that wouldn’t open the door. Well-worn property inside and outside.

Even though it was a non-smoking room, it snowed quite a bit of smoke so much that I had to run out to a store and buy air fresheners. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the toilet had water stains on the inside of it. The in wall air conditioner had a vent that was broken, so it was difficult to direct any airflow and was extremely noisy. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in this property and we will never stay there again.

Room cleanliness is marginal. Stains in the tun, floor wood plank is loose, door lock is missing, slight mold in the refrigerator. One outlet unable to keep charger plugged in.

The breakfast was just bread and cold cereal. The coffee was out. I asked to fill it up. He was very nice about.
