Quality Inn Bismarck I-94

Do not believe anything you see about this property. The pictures make it look somewhat livable- but it truly is not. The place smells god awful, place is trashed, and the rooms are complete junk. Please avoid at all costs!

The guy at the front desk was the best check-in staff I’ve ever experienced! (and the beds and pillows were super comfortable, too!)

Went back this weekend because overall the staff has been very nice. They again were very nice, but this time my room again had very little hot water. It did get hot eventually, but you should not have to wait 10-15 minutes to get water hot enough to take a shower!

Had to drag my large suitcase down stairs to hall. The deadbolt on the room would not work, so I had to change rooms.

I love the breakfast buffet. Good selection and made hot and fresh. They no longer have the spa room. I loved that.

Location Room fridge did not work, staff sent me to my room the long way around. Lounge staff served out dated beverages and slow service.

Great staff. Room was clean. Slept good. Breakfast was decent. Ice maker was broken on our floor.

The room was clean and comfortable. I only stayed over night.

No hot water - eventually had to open sink tap at same time as shower to get some hot water. Room was adequate, a bit small tho. Only TV/direct tv channels.

The cleanliness was not good.

Rooms need some work. The hallways and stair cases are not clean and several damaged walls. There is a smell. Also the internet is really bad

You can tell it’s an older property that they’ve been upgrading. Didn’t have a Smart TV, no big deal. It was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was average, nothing wrong with it at all, just nothing to brag about.

Some areas of the hotel needed cleaning.

Mattresss are horrible, no one slept

The hotel is falling apart, the carpet in the hallways and our room was horribly stained and worn out, the paint is coming off and in places it looks like they've started to repaint it and then got distracted--for years. Same with giant rolls of carpet abandoned in the stairwell. Almost the entire hotel looks dingy and run down. Was coughing nonstop in the room and then discovered the air conditioner was full of mold--like little mold castles growing inside. Turning it off helped tremendously, but of course then no air conditioning. The bathtub was chipping apart. The hairdryer handle was black. The toilet didn't completely fit under the counter it was next to which meant the seat couldn't stay up when boys used it. The "fitness room" had two treadmills-both of which were broken, plus an old stationary bike and a universal weight machine. A super loud group of families with young kids must have been having a party and was running up and down the halls, trying to open other room's doors, etc. until past 11-I think they were having a party. I know guest behavior isn't necessarily the hotels fault, but they did nothing to try to stop it. Even the sign outside didn't light up. What keeps it from one star? The staff was friendly, the breakfast area was surprisingly well lit, clean, and cheery, with friendly staff manning it, and it even had sausage and eggs. The pool and hot tub were actually nice and the hot tub was hot. The bedding/towels were clean and new looking.
