River View Resort

Too far from the airport. Kinda run down. The staff was grouchy. Advertise shuttle from airport and to dock. No shuttle from the airport they stopped that Aug 1 and you paid $10 each for shuttle to the docks. I didn’t feel safe there. No Resturant close had to walk at night in Tampa or cab it to a restaurant

The location is convenient and also a pretty spot. It was super clean. Spacious suite with balcony on the back. We would stay here again. The unit is a bit dated but all furniture, beds, appliances, etc are in clean, working order. The shower head had low pressure and is a dated fixture. It could use an upgrade. We mention this just to make others aware. It is an adequate hotel, just not upgraded. It served our needs well.The front desk mentioned the hot tub had just had a replacement heater, we did however feel the jets lacked pressure. The pool & hot tub area was very clean and well kept.

Comfortable and accomodated my whole family. Not enough coffee for the 2 days we stayed and no conditioner with the shampoo.

Convenient, clean and roomy

The owners were incredibly friendly, the apartments are spacious, the pool was clean, and the amenities are fun. Nothing, we had a lovely stay.

It was clean and the area was quiet. It was almost two hours away from things but so worth the price.

Nothing new or fancy, but a solid well kept place to stay. Kids enjoyed the clean pool, and the staff was quite pleasant!

Location and parking

The room was clean (but a bit dated), and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. It was perfect to stay w/ my mother and teen-aged son. It was nice to have a full kitchen, and conveniently supplied with the essentials. We would stay there again!

The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the parking. Because of how the building is set up, you most likely will not park in front of your room, which can make carrying bags tedious. A non issue though, everything else was great

The staff was super friendly and always available. The apartment was fully loaded and everything was provided. The pool close too early especially when people are in vacation. 8 PM.

The suite was spacious and well supplied, The staff was very helpful and friendly. Can't think of a thing

People up above us are very noisy, floor made noise every time they moved.

The hosts were very accommodating for our late arrival and made our stay feel welcoming. We arrived too late to check out the pool.

It had a pool, but couldn't use it until 2nd night. The power went out in whole town due to unexpected micro storm that took out major transformer. The room was already paid for but no power, water, generator just a little flashlight for 3 people and a dog. We were given a pot of water for toilet but was from pool couldn't be used for washing. There was absolutely no compensation offered or a future discount etc..... Owner/manager absolutely lied when said she had to clean up from dog and several pee pads all over. We were up there for work and the dog was very behaved and no accidents! Place was spotless when we left!!!

The air conditioner in the room with the queen bed was not working so my husband and I had to sleep in the other room with two twin beds, which we did not like. When we arrived the living room smelt like animal pee, and I had to spray some perfume just to make it better.
