Best Western White House Inn

Hot tub is great, breakfast is good (hot foods, waffle makers, etc), location is weird (in a field next to a farm type property and right next to truck stop, not really in or super close to Bangor but we were aware of that ahead of time). I wonder if carpet replacement would help with the strange smell present throughout the hotel including in rooms - it was hard to get used to at first but eventually we got used to it. Overall enjoyed our stay for a short time as we were passing through the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was charming, clean, and conveniently located. The only issue was the crowded breakfast area. We had to take our breakfast to the sitting room because there were no tables available with a tour bus of guests all eating at the same time.

This stay was definitely a highlight during our road trip…staff are friendly, it was a clean room, the hot tub was awesome, breakfast offering was very generous, and all the presidential memorabilia was very interesting.

It’s an old hotel with smelly carpet. Old fixtures & noisy ac unit.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff and management went over and above to make sure our stay was top-notch. The breakfast was excellent; hot, fresh, and delicious with a wide variety of choices. There was nothing that I can think of that would improve the stay

We liked the spa. It was very big and had a waterfall. Jets were not set where I would have liked them and the water wasn't very hot. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. It was a bit far from everything if you're going downtown but we were going to the SK Tours and it was easy to find from the hotel. The presidential memorabilia and stories about each president was pretty cool. We loved the theme. I would have liked a better place to take the dogs out of the back where our room was. The room was pretty small. The bathroom was tiny!

I was taken back a bit by the woman behind the desk upon arrival. She was wearing a mask. Was she ill? Where is the hand sanitizer, if she’s ill? Also the carpet in our room had what appeared to be dog feces on it. It was not a pet friendly room. So what was that?

The shower is very weird and the bathroom was very small. Also it is an older hotel.

It was cleaner than most hotels! Only downside it’s located next to a truck stop, but noise was minimal. Average free breakfast

We had 120 next to hall and tile so it was a little noisy every time someone pulled their luggage, spa was nice, decent pizza.majority of staff was great

The toilet and tub room is very small. The staff are very friendly a d breakfast was great.

Typical hotel, very cool theme. Staff was alright. Biggest problem was our room had an ant infestation, solution was to send us up to the room with raid and that was it.

The hotel was nice. There was a path in the field next door, which our dog aporeciated; included poop bags and toy hydrant. The breakfast was very good, a step above many we've had recently. I used the gym, which was nice and clean. Day staff were nice. We came in late because of car issues...10pm. The fro t desk reception was lacking in warmth and enthusiasm. We got no information about anything rateted to the property. It was disappointing. The location is near the highway and industrial lots. The outside air was foul at time and the highway noise was persistent. You could hear it in the room but the air conditioner drowned it out in the room.

The hotel was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable on the breakfast was good.
